Jcandleattic
That has 3-4 cavities and preferably silicone. I got one from Amazon not too long ago and it was well, pretty, but not what I was looking for. This is it - but they are literally as small as a dime, and just as thin. I need something just a tad bigger and with a little more depth to it. However, I don't want it to be like 2"-3" deep. I just want it for embeds on top of my soap bars. Any suggestions? I am not the best google searcher, but I did try to find them and had no luck with etsy, ebay, amazon or van yulay, although VY is probably the closest I'm going to find to what I'm looking for... :-/
Jcandleattic
I think I found one. Boy - I am REALLY bad at searching! LMAOAnyway, I went ahead and got this one. I think *think* it will be perfect. Of course that's what I thought about the other one too. LOL
SuzyK
I have a couple of small snowflake molds that are candy molds. They were only a couple bucks a piece. You can find them at joanns or michaels. Also, if you search candy molds on Etsy there are a few shops that have some great molds.

I hate working with them, because I want to use this multiple times and with CP as well as M&P and the plastic candy molds just do not work the way I want them to for that application. I'll check my molds JC as I have lots and I think I might have one ....I might....lol If I do, I'll send it to you. TrappeurYou are so very sweet Trappeur! I've already ordered the purple one, but if you have one that is silicone, let me know how much you want for it, and I'd be happy to take it off your hands! Love the snowflakes. You going to make some 'Frozen' soaps with icicle embeds?Well?? Sort of.. (I mean, nothing against the movie or anything, I'm sure it's great and will see but I haven't seen it yet, (not sure I've even heard the damn Let it go song either) AND it irritates me to no end that OUAT is making that it's theme this coming season - GRRRRRRR - LOL - I know, I know!! I'm an oddball!! LOL) But yes, I want to use it with my Snow Witch scent from Mad Oils, and call it Rocky Mountain Snow.

Jcandleattic
I bought that little pink fondant one too!! Way smaller than I was expecting love that purple one !!! Good luck Jcandleattic. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!Thank you! YOU are actually what inspired me with your blue, snowflake, Christmas soap you posted a few weeks ago. That soap is so gorgeous, it inspired me to try something, but I need the embeds to do it. And I absolutely fell in LOVE with Snow Witch when I smelled it OOB. It such a deliciously clean cool winter Christmas scent. I can't wait to use it. I am going to use it in a small batch this weekend, just not the one I'll do with the embeds. I'll think of something else until those come.

Scented
Looking forward to seeing this vision! If I'd get off my duff I could see me maybe coming up with some form of embeddedness.
KrazeKelly
Snow Witch is back in stock or was..... but WOW!! Their oils are expensive!! I'm gonna have to wait a bit before I order from them....haha!
Jcandleattic
I just went and looked because I didn't remember them being over the top expensive.Hmm, I wonder if they are having problems with their website. I did NOT pay $16 for my 4oz bottle. I would NEVER pay that much. I'd have to look at my invoice, but I think it was right around $9.50-$10.50 for the 4oz I have. (which was still pretty expensive) I dont' care how much I love a scent, I refuse to pay more than right around that for 4oz and rarely more than $20 for a lb. I'm way to cheap for that... Jcandleattic
Yep, I just went and looked - I only paid $9.00 for my 4oz of Snow Witch and the order was put in on the 10th.Snow Witch ~ fragrance oil - 4 ozFulfilled Sep 11 WTC-666 $ 9.00 1 $ 9.00 So either something is screwy with their pricing OR they really jacked up their prices. I will have to email them, because I would like to reorder, but as I said above, NO WAY will I pay $15.32 for 4oz. That is just insane.. Candybee
Found this snowflake mold on WSP. They carry Wilton silicone molds. The snowflakes are big enough but not as pretty as the other small molds. I will keep checking to see if I can find anymore molds for you. WSP also has a snowman silicone mold but its out of stock. Here is the one I found on WSP: http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/products/snowflake-24-mini-wilton-silicone-mold.aspx Here is a larger snowflake mod off the Wilton website. You could make larger snowflakes but make them thinner. These would be cute but don't know if they are right size: http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=1B64477E-423B-522D-F114DDE696FD0729 Edited September 22, 2014 by Candybee

I like the look of it from the picture... Now the snowman mold I'd be interested in. I haven't looked yet. I love snowmen! I decorate my whole house in a snowman theme during the holiday's. They are my favorite...
Jcandleattic
LMAO I laughed so hard at myself and the mold when I opened my mail today. The package they put the mold in is about the size of a deck of cards - the mold is a tiny bit bigger than a half dollar piece, and the snowflakes themselves are about the size of a dime - maybe... However, I will say this - they are easier to pour and make a better shape and are better made than the one in that first pic I showed and will work well enough in my little 1lb mold that I use for my "kids'" soaps. Or my "Little Hands" soaps (although a soaper friend of mine uses that term - that's where I actually got it from - so I won't be calling the line that, I'll have to come up with my own name" If I end up making soap tomorrow morning before I leave for the oral surgeon's I will take a pic of the mold and the embeds it makes (I've already made about 5 batches of them) and I will put something next to them to show you the relative size. It's pretty comical...

I've not tried any Mad Oils yet so I guess I'll wait til it's back in stock I just read the description on Snow WItch and it sounds awesome! Is the pine part of the scent pretty strong or is it subtle with the cranberry and spice notes? I hadn't considered any FO for fall/winter with pine because I wasn't sure if it would be something people would go for.

It's definitely there but it's not overpowering at all and the spice/fruit/crisp scent really lend itself to this scent. It has fast become my favorite.
