leisa2003
I have a wholesale account that I current ship clmashells to and she now wants to add candles but she only wants to carry one size and she is leaving that up to me to decide. What size in your opinion would you sell to her? I wholesale my 8 oz. for $5.00 and the 16 oz. for $8.00 and I know she would be buying them and it would seem the 16 oz would make the more money but I want them to sell from her of course so I'm just wondering what size her customers might prefer. I know its hard to say due to her shop and her market but I am just trying to pick between the two sizes. Opinions???Thanks!
rctfavr3
Id go with the 8oz. It's easier on you + you'll have more to sell + her potential customers will be more inclined to sample an 8oz (impulse buy) over a 16 oz. deb426
The 8 ounce will be cheaper to ship.

lmc
The 8oz size will be more affordable for customers to try, they'll then buy more frequently because of the smaller size.
moonshine
I always go for a smaller one when I buy candles from somewhere for the first time - if they sell great for her she may add the 16 down the road
puma52
Hi Leisa,8 oz. My biggest seller of all the years I have been in business is and always has been the 8 oz square mason jar...people love it and the lower price.
HayCreekCandles
I agree with everyone the 8 oz. ....they are our best sellers too. Not too big ...not too small
leisa2003
Cool. 8 oz. it is! Thanks!
Candybee
Definitely an 8oz jar. In this economy the 16oz jars are not moving as quickly. Remember the shop owner has to sell them to make money too so go with your best seller.
