  1. Thank you I actually need a few things from them, so I will add that on. Have you or anyone else ever tried this one?
  2. Now that sounds interesting....I love those! Does anyone have any idea who carries this?
  3. I will put that one on my list to try...thank you I have never ordered from ng, but I have a list going of fo recommendations from various suppliers that I hope to get to. CS has one that's pretty good but not quite "the one" that I am searching for. I just got a sample from daystar and oh my...eew. I really want to find that strong, rich, buttery brown sugar and dough smell.
  4. Thank you guys for the other suggestions I have been searching for a great bakery lemon scent for years and am hoping this one will be it. Its one of those fragrances that I have 20 samples of from every supplier under the sun and am still on the hunt for....uggg. I will have to try out the others that you all suggest as well...all I need is more fos .
  5. Thank you both I wanted to try the lemon cheesecake and the coffee caramel cream, does anyone have any other suggestions?
  6. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the fos from this company...good or bad. There are a couple I was thinking about trying but am a little hesitant as I cant find any reviews at all using the search function. TIA
  7. Candles and supplies has a couple of really nice straight paraffins that both mottle very nicely. They have great cold and hot throw as well. HTH
  8. That wouldn't be a bad idea. Its something that is definitely a selling point (at least to me) when trying to do one stop shopping.
  9. Does bcn prime all of their wicks with 212*mp paraffin? I use zincs and paper as well. TIA
  10. I wish they carried cds there It would be nice to get all my wicks done this way without having to get them custom made.
  11. I know that this is not the fragrance section, but I just had to put another plug in for peaks lilac. I have a double wicked tumbler going right now that I just made yesterday and it is unbelievable!
  12. In my testing I did find them to be pretty similar, but short of the aweful wetspots I get from the J223, it has performed better in my system and has given me better ht than the 4630. I should say though to be fair, I only tested 2 10# slabs before deciding to move ahead with the j223. Maybe with more extensive testing I would have come to a different conclusion.
  13. Ok, I did a little more digging and found an older post on here where Cbl 125 was proven to be 4630. Candlewic apparently verified to a couple of people here that igi sends them the 4630 in liquid form and they then slab it and rename it. Has anyone tested these two side by side or know if this is actually correct?
  14. That is funny that you use a pancake griddle. Just this morning I was making french toast on mine and was wondering if I could use it for that very same thing have you ever had a glass break from being set directly on the heat source?
  15. That is great! Hopefully I'll be able to report back equally good results Sorry for the double post, I don't know what I'm doing sometimes with my computer LOL
  16. Just happy with HT, CT & smoothness. That is great! Hopefully I'll be able to report back equally good results:)
  17. Thanks for the pointers, I am anxious now to get testing:)
  18. Thank you both for sharing your findings. I use j223 as a back-up when I cant get a particular fragrance to throw the way I want with my standard parasoy blend. For the most part I am finding that if one won't work, the other will. Another bonus is that the wicking is almost identical to my normal blend so that saves me some headaches. But, you both are so right about the importance of finding the right wick, it makes all the difference in the world. That being said, I am still not totally satisfied with the j223 for a couple of reasons. The first being wet spots...they are aweful with this wax, and nothing I have tried has helped. It is the only wax I have any problems with and it is driving me absolutely crazy. The other big reason is I want to try and decrease the number of waxes I use. I am finally to a point where I have 4 primary waxes that I can use alone or in combination that meets most of my needs but I still am missing a good overall wax to fill in the cracks. Do you guys find the Cbl125 to be pretty versatile?
  19. Looking for a sticky buns fo to mix with cs carmalized pralines. I love the c.p. alone but I think it would be even better with a little something along this line. Any thoughts?
  20. I was just on a supplier website today that stated that cbl125 is comparable or equivalent to j233. I was thinking of trying out a slab of the cbl125 but if its the same as j233 (which I already use), I can cross it off my list. TIA
  21. How about adding a touch of creme brulee?
