    has anyone found a lid for this jar yet? I really would like to continue using but Im losing the cold throw without a lid. for craft shows I was using Glad press and seal and it works very well. But I will be moving into my boutique and would like a more elegant look... any help?

    thank you guys for your response, it was very eye opening. Trappeur that's makes so much sense...I never thought to wait two weeks to test..i never even thought that the wick would or could perform different after sitting.. well I have experience scent throw stronger but I didn't contribute it to the wick...thank you

    I started a post on wicking my 12oz status jar. Within that post there were many responses on test time and they were different. Now Im not saying anyone is wrong but I do want to know what everyone else does. Ok I use 6006 mixed with additional soy, so I allow my candles to cure for 2-4 days before I testing. once I test I use the for ex: 12oz status 3" dia I burn for 3hrs wait 3-4hrs then burn again.... ive read some people wait 16-20hrs before burns some people head right back in as soon as the was is back soild.. whats the rule of thumb? what do you do?

    Ok here's a few pictures after 9 test burns ... Waiting 3 hours before each..... My husband allowed the last test burn run over ... That's why it's black around the jar

    Thank you guys so much wow I never thought to wait 16-20hrs between burns... Thank you I will try it .... I must be crazy to want to switch jars lol or add jars I have 12 scents to test with wax wick of combos.. Lol and 2 new jars .... Crazy candle lady here

    thanks Chris im still going at it, I will keep you guys posted...now on the other hand im testing the 8oz status with 44z wicks .. they are doing great....

    yes that's what im doing burn for 3 sorry and then sit for 3, then start again ... I did continue its coming along but still testing I will post a picture shortly

    Ok I am waiting on several results to come in from testers. I am testing the 12oz status jar Wax: 6006 mix with 10% soy Jar: 12oz status jar heated Fo: monkey farts .9 Wick: 60z I was going to wait until the end but I need some feed back now. I'm on test burn #4 I've been testing 3hr wait 4hr then test again.. Ok I have not reached a full melt pool yet. The hot throw is fine.. But it has major hang up in my opinion. Should I abort the mission Or order 62z or double wick which I don't want to do. Here's the last burn

    I'm not sure what happened. I am using 6006 15% soy .08 butt naked quiz status jar and hope wicks. I started the burn yesterday and my hubby said it burned for about 6 hrs and he put it out and it was like this. Then I burned it again for 3 hrs think it may catch up..it didn't ok now this morning it's about an hour and a half.its a perfect circle like a pillar burning. I normally use zinc wicks 60 but wanted to test the hip out..any suggestions. .it hope you can see the pictures

    hello where did you find the square lids? will they fit the libbey square that's at dollar tree

    I use PB blend and it works great I test in scentsy warmers and I get a slow release which I like
