    Ok I think this is correct but wanted to check with someone else. when blending 25%soy and 75% paraffin this means I am taking 25% of 18oz to get 4.5oz of soy...and 75% of 16oz to get 13.5oz of paraffin? is this correct? so it will equal 18oz or 1 lb

    I use golden brand 416 for tarts, can I mix that and the 4794 or should I mix 4794 with my golden brand 444 or 464..I think I even have a few more different wax here, but can I mix it with soy? if so whats a good starting point to mix

    early american candles has these .875 glass sample jars for .25 I ordered some too seems like it would work. just saw these at bitter creek south! this will work great also

    Are you making clamshells? I just made some using my 416 and it seemed kind of soft, now for my mini muffins it was fine. m going to try the PB for my clamshells

    those look great..what temp did you heat and pour at? and what FO are you using? I ask because gateway said I could heat to 135 because thats the meltpoint and pour:confused: im confused because everyone has said to melt higher

    Hello im new also and the best advice given to me was read,read,read and when your done read again. This site has soooooooooo much information at times it can be tiresome. everything you need is right here in the post, take advantage of the archives it has alot of information. another piece of advice is dont take things personal, the experts know what they are talking about and they have a true PASSION FOR OUR CRAFT!!!so when advice is given its to help us...well I guess thats it remember read read read and then read again ..I read from sun up to sun down..when I cant sleep Im up reading..HTH have fun I truely am

    well thanks i took a look at that and also gateway site, I guess I didnt pay to much attention to the 415, I have 444 and 464 to test for my candles once the tarts are to my liking

    LOL I have tested both and like both lol, and Gateway gave me the samples for both lol im just not sure which to buy

    I dont use KY Parasoy for my melts but I have had a few of my melts do the same thing, I have CT but the HT is weak, I would play around with my melting temps and maybe bring the FO% down , not sure but sometimes I have found it does work for me .HTH

    I am toren between Golden Brands 416 and ecosoya Pillar blend for my tarts....I like both of them...the 416 is $78 for a 50lb and the PB is $100..not sure any thoughts:confused:? anyone have anything that could help me choose? lol

    I know there is a post regarding this app but I have a question, when you register for this are you registering as retail? it has a list of different options to choose how you are using it,I do have a business license but wasnt sure if I should use retail, personal..etc... or which one can someone help me? what are you guys choosing. I dont have a place of business but here in Illinois we can use a peddlers license along with our business license to sell anywhere other than your home...just wanted to know
