    many thanks to all.. but how is it that I don't like so much my candles and instead I love all yours??? Do you really think mine are nice? Do you see something wrong, something I coudl do better.. If you would give me some suggestion I'll appreciate it. Kisses!!

    Hi, these are my last works... One is a small cilinder made with draped layers, colr are blue and light pink; the other is a bigger cilinder, layers are two different shades of Iris Blue (a REAL wax dye!! it is a powder dye) and white (uncolored wax). Scented patchouli.. What can you tell me about them? Thanks!!

    Thank you very much! In fact I was thinking to buy coffee beans, they come in aluminum can, so I thought it could be a nice mold!!!

    I have a box.. garage.. how do you call it... where you park the car.. It' very big, it's 7,5 mt x 5 mt. It is directly under the house, there are internal stairs to go there. During winter it's too cold down there but I found the way to heat it.. The only thing that prevent me to do my studio there is a .. biliardo.. I don't know how you say it!!! I'm trying to sell it but nobody wants it!!

    thanks!! but form pictures I see it seemed that the insert was laying on the bottom of mold.. when you pour the wax.. or not??

    Hi, hurricane candles are my next attempt.. if I can find something to use as a mold. But there is a thing I don't see clearly: when you use a hurricane mold with insert the hurricane canlde has the bottom or not? Hope you understand what I mean.. the insert is touching the bottom of the mold? bye bye

    that is my kitchen.. I have to keep it clean if I can, there are my lovely cats around.. they sometimes steal some wicks.. or byte a piece o wax!!

    BELLISSIMA:drool: very beautiful.. but only straight paraffin mottles??? Paraffin + stearin does not mottle?? uhhhh buhhhh I want some mottling!!! Yours is a very very nice candle!!

    Hi Vess, I'm a newbie too.. 'til now I poke reliefe holes when the wak forms a film on the surface.. then I keep them open (I come back several times and reopen them). I'v been told to go til 3/4 of the height of candle. The final repour I heat wax at about 190-200° F.. I nevere notice difference in color. Sorry if I can't tell you more!

    Hi all! this is a candle I made just to experiment the technique... here in Italy halloween is not a tradition, but in the last years we started to celebrate it. So I did it just to do something, for now it has no purpose!!! And it is not so beautiful. I named it "Gino Fantasmino", Gino the little ghost!!!!

    Hi and welcome from Italy! I have not much to teach, I'm here to learn, and I have a great time reading this board then running at home and put everything I can find in a pot. My cats are looking for another house where they can live in peace and have some free space.

    Hi.. mine is not a technical question.. perhaps before I make technical question I should be able to make my candle stay in boiling water!!!! I tried this technique with a small cilinder.. but I could not take it under water!!! It kept coming up!!! It floats!!!! Help!! I cannot put my hand in boiling water!!! Give me some smart ideas please!!
