  1. I only did exchanges through my storefront and have never had anyone request a return from my website.
  2. Thanks for your responses. I think I will pass on giving them a try for now.
  3. I've been trying to browse this website and it's a bit, ok, ALOT of info. I'm overwhelmed by it. So, turning to the pros to ask for some of your fragrance oil winners. Thanks
  4. So, how do you keep your food from absorbing the the fragrance when you are pouring? I closed my retail store over a year ago and have started playing around again, but I'm now making them in my storage room. I took some food to a friend tonight and he said it tasted like candle. Anyone else experience this?
  5. Thanks Stella. I'll try the 6 and 7. Ginger & Amber is one of my favorite scents. I will try the ginger & frankincense next time I order.
  6. I'm burning the ginger & amber now. Can't smell a thing and it's not burning well at all. I'm burning the cd 5. Guess I'll bump up the wick size. Any help would be appreciated. I'm assuming I will not have to go over 8% with this wax. I've always gotten great results with my paraffin votives. One votive would scent my bedroom. That's what I am hoping for with this wax.
  7. So, does anyone use this wax for votives? Or have you tried it in the past? Likes and/or dislikes?
  8. Yes, I found the 6228 @ tristate, but it's 132.00 a case??? Then I would have to pay for shipping also. I can't pay that. Taylored had a votive wax that was great, but he closed. So, I am trying the PB for votives. I can get that locally and it's already got a good price tag.
  9. Which oil Stella?? Honeysuckle Jasmine or Ginger & Amber. Ginger & Amber is one of my favorites. As for the wick selection, I started with the manufacturers suggestions.
  10. I finally got around to pouring a couple of testers today. I poured CandleScience honeysuckle jasmine @ 8% using a cd 4 and a cd 5. Also, I poured Candlewic Ginger & Amber with the same % and same wicks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this wax since taylored concepts went out of business. I've tried 4794 for votives and don't like it. What I REALLY miss is my OK 6228. I loved that wax.
  11. You have to log into your account to see it. For some reason, it does not show up without logging in. It's on the second page of candle warmers.
  12. It's under candle warmers. I think it's on the last page.
  13. I was wondering if anyone has seen the witch candle warmer from obi. I would love to have 4-6 of these but they come in a case of 24. They are 6.95 each. Is there anyone interested in splitting a case? I really don't want 12, so 3 more people interested would be great. Shoot me an email if interested. Sharon
  14. That's great for those that use their oils, and I am one of those people. But RE does not sell wax, so it's doubtful that product will carry over.
  15. Well, I was getting ready to order the paraffin pillar blend. I guess I won't now. That's too bad. So many are falling by the wayside.
  16. If I'm not mistaken, I think they got their 70/30 from Clarus. They are in dallas. Just google them and it will come up. Pretty sure the guys name is Brad.
  17. Thanks to all. I'm going to try it in votives and tarts.
  18. I've been thinking about trying this wax for a while now. I was wondering for those that use it, do you have any issues with it cracking? Also, does it take color well?
  19. Yes, I feel the same way. I had emailed them because I have a customer that is crazy about their indian summer. I cannot find another like it. He did respond and tell me what to mix, but what good does that do me if I don't have those oils to mix??? I carried about 10 of their oils and I sure do miss them. So do my customers!!!
  20. This is getting so frustrating!!! I had posted about his votive wax a while back. Hopefully AAA will carry the same votive wax. I've never bought from them, but would be willing to.

    incense bags

Could someone please tell me what size zip lock bag I would need to package 100 sticks per bag??
  22. I was just discussing this with a friend. Yes, there are many different and cool votive holders out there. They are usually not tight fitting and the wax runs. Personally, I try to make sure my customers use the standard votive holders. I get about 14-15 hours out of my votives when I use these holders. I do use the 44-24 wick on some hard to burn scents, but that is too large of a wick for most fragrances.
  23. I have not been making candles for the last year. I picked up some taylored 2090 votive wax today and it's different from what it used to be. It actually says Calumet on the bag. The last time this happened, I could not get the votives out of the molds. Robert assured me I would be happy with this wax. Does anyone else use this wax, and if so, how do you like it?
