  1. I understand everything I said bc I said it. What you are not understanding is the fact that at the time we were going strictly fedex, many were asking us not to bc shipping was cheaper with usps. At the time it was through FedEx only, BUT people were asking us to ship with USPS also. Maybe that clears things up now.
  2. Quick question wonderfullywicked, when was your order placed and I'll look up the info on it? You can pm me if you choose or email me.
  3. Lies :rolleyes2. I know what I posted before. We were testing the waters then and negotiating with fedex the shipping fees. We were shipping with them at the time, but also many were complaining they wanted USPS bc it was cheaper and didn't want us us to ship strictly through FedEx. But bc of USPS being slow, we dropped them period. So if that looked like a lie, sorry for not being more clear or detailed in explaining my business with you. It's pretty difficult to get tones through on boards. If there was an error in your order where we shipped through USPS instead of FedEx, I apologize. I'd be more than happy to issue you a refund on the difference as well, if any. Please feel free to email me. Our shipping discount with FedEx was not official until February if that matters to you. Drama queen stuff through my posts? I'm not the one bringing up old threads. I'm just trying to explain, excuses nothing, they are truths. Everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect. We all try as humanly possible to do right. I for one am not the kind of person to ignore, walk away or let be. I try my hardest to do right.
  4. I would say Sweetcakes. I had the real eo and compared the two, barely any difference at all.
  5. FEDEX started after the delays in orders then. If you were/are a member of our yahoo group, you may have seen it posted there. USPS was the choice at that time, not only that, but USPS has too many regulations now to send fragrance oils so we have now chosen FEDEX. Which is the other reason I posted that on the other thread. Lack of response? We respond to all orders, we even make it a point to check your spam/junk folders which could have been the problem then. All emails are responded to within 48 hours.
  6. This is why I no longer ship via USPS. Too many problems that makes us look bad when in fact it is USPS that takes forever to mail something, even when it's shipped via PM. I don't even mail my bills anymore. I'm not giving them my business if I don't have too. I love FedEx and have yet to have any problems, knock on wood. They insure automatically up to $100 and offer tracking, where USPS does NOT offer tracking and they make it very clear that delivery confirmation is not a tracking service but to show that the package was indeed delivered. You may be paying more for shipping, but it is well worth it. Plus, USPS has to many problems shipping fo's and their flashpoints.
  7. I'm referring to new posts bc it was dragged back up. The old stuff was taken care of way back when.
  8. Thanks Sabsgurl. I also posted an update over there when I returned. I've contacted the 2 that have pm'd or emailed me. I thought I'd chime in here. Last week my great aunt passed away and I had to leave. I did post to my yahoo group and another forum, but was not able to post everywhere. I had to leave out of state. All is ok now and any orders they were unable to fullfill (which I see now are only 2) will be completed tomorrow. Thanks
  9. I just noticed it too as I went to place an order. I wonder if she knows.
  10. Maybe it's possible an item was backordered? I've only had good service myself from them.
  11. I use soy and her fo's are excellent in them. BTW, Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies and Vanilla Delicious are tdf in soy! Geez, just what I need, another excuse to spend more money.
  12. You got it. For me when I've done it I didn't use saran wrap. I just watched it carefully as to not overheat it. It can spill over if it does.
  13. Hi ladies, I'm so sorry that you feel that way. I've been having a few problems with USPS since October. The holiday season is pretty busy for everyone. But because of the slow shipping and the couple experiences we've had, I am now only shipping via FedEx. USPS has made it very clear to me (trust me, they know me over here, I complain a lot to them), that they do not scan packages that are preprinted, unless you purchase dc directly from them at the counter. So most of the time it will say electronically notified... I have confirmed this with another disher that actually works for USPS because I thought it was just my USPS office being lazy:undecided. But not so. Usually, most orders will go out within 48 hours after it's been placed or within 48 hours after shipping payment has been received. Unless otherwise noted. And all packages are picked up by both USPS and FedEx. And if we have orders still going out, I'll even make a trip down to FedEx or USPS to ensure they all get out in a timely manner. Insurance is recommended on my site, and as you check out, you agree to those terms. You cannot check out without agreeing to them. I have, in good faith, sent out replacement packages at my own expense, including the postage. Beginning this month, along with changing to FedEx only as our method of delivery, I will no longer be replacing any packages at my expense. I have to add here, that since customer service has been expressed as bad. This past week has been really hectic here for both businesses of mine. I try to get back to all emails or pm's as quickly as I can. Even if it's at 1 a.m. in the morning. My phone number is listed on both of my sites, my fax has been on in the last couple of weeks for orders coming through from my soap site, but if anything, you can also fax me. I always call my customers back. As well as pming me at the dish, as I check there often, but this past week my box was full and I didn't know it as I hasdn't been over there this past week. As far as not responding to emails, as of late, we have been switching our email account over to our hosting company, ordersatsoapsillydotcom. Hotmail has been sending some emails through, some to the junk folder. As many of you probably experience, we get loads of spam a day. Sometimes we don't have enough time to filter them. Unless we sit down for a couple hours a day and screen the emails for legit emails. We tried spam arrest, but that didn't work out well. So we finally switched to our hosting company and so far we are happy with them. Knock on wood. I've even had this problem with emails for companies I've placed orders with. I wonder why I didn't get a notice, then I find it in my junk folder:sad2:. So I apologize profusely for not getting back to you. Now, as far as the soap dish pm box. It is not disabled, it was full and I didn't realize it because I had not been over there this past week. I just cleaned it out though. I would never disable it. I work hard to make myself available and it saddens me when someone thinks I've performed poorly. This is why I have implemented the changes described above. Customer service is my number one priority. I've been in customer service for nearly 15 years. I'm sorry that this has happened to you. We are hoping to get these postal problems straightened out. As well as the email problem. I hope that this has not discouraged you from ordering from us again and that you will give us another chance in the future. I hope this season brings abundance to you all.
  14. I'm here! We use spam arrest and have been having problems with it deleting emails, sending them to spam folder. I've been trying to keep on top of the emails. I'm actually about to just cancel spam arrest, the hassles are not worth it. All orders from the July sale have been shipped. The last just this past weekend. If ever in doubt and you can't reach me via email (in which you should get an email from spam arrest asking you to authenticate your email addy with us), contact me at the dish, the whisk or even here. I visit the boards back and forth while I'm online printing labels or doing invoicing in qb. Sorry about that! Thanks Julia!
  15. Another not for soap here. It's best in lotions, lotion bars, lip balms.
  16. Pretty much all brands will have something else other than just coconut milk listed in the ingredients. I have not had any problems with any of them. I use them in all or half of my water. No need to freeze like gm. It will turn golden colored and smell a bit like toasted coconut when you add the lye, but once you blend with your oils it'll be fine. Also, in the end soap, it has no smell. I make my OMH with all cm and it's one of my favorites. nice and creamy.
  17. I do bubbling bath bombs, rg bb's and bubble bath cupcakes. You can check out my site here: http://soapsilly.com
  18. The best way to prevent it is by first freezing you preweighed gm first. Once it's frozen add your lye to it slowly. The other way is by not letting it go through gel. Now, there is a way for your soaps to gel without getting dark, but I haven't done it yet. I'll have to look up my notes to see about it.
