    It appears I haven't lost my touch! Thought I'd post a few of the candles I made in the last two weeks. I also started making soy tins. I'm amazed at how easy they have been to test. I'm really loving how these turned out and how amazing the throw is.

    This is my favorite scent for candles that I make for my home office, and this weekend I made a few and finished the FO. I went online to order another and shock of shocks, I see Green Leaf Candle supply is out of business!!!! OMG What am I going to do now?!?! Stay away from candle making for a year and looks what happens....... Anyone know of another FO that is similar to this one? I also used to buy a lot of their Maduro, Indonesian Teak, and Magic of India. Does anyone else sell these FO's?

    They look awesome! And yes, putting object in candles can be dangerous, but if you intend to just use them as decoration, they are lovely to look at.

    I used to use 1343 or 1274 for mottled pillars, but always had a problem with bulging. I changed over to 4045H from Candlewic and haven't looked back. Unfortunately it is only available from them as it is a custom blend, but I feel it's worth it as the wax is awesome!!!

    I was thinking the same thing!!! Thought about buying a baking tray and drilling holes in the side for the wicks. Before the wax is totally cooled, unmolding it and "folding". Not sure if it will worth though, but I would really like to try....... What are your ideas?

    My thoughts? What a load of codswallop!!! :rolleyes2 I'd be ashamed to give, never mind sell, a candle to anyone with a "fragrance mushroom". Puh-lease.........

    Hee hee! Got some Ivory pillars scented with French Vanilla and Amber cooling in the molds as we speak - first ones I've made this year!!! I really need to get back into it full time, as I find the time I spend in the basement with my wax is very relaxing. I will post pics when I have anything worth showing off!!!

    Sometime in 2006. I paid $50 for 4045H and the shipping was around $16. I ordered yesterday and paid $63 for wax and $26 for shipping. The FO's I usually order have gone up about $3/lb..... I suppose it's not that much in the grand scheme of things, but I was surprised!
