    I normally get a full MP within an hour or so, the MP is usually about 1/4 deep, but after hour 2-3 the MP is about 3/4 to 1" deep. Is my wick too big?

    I also use 100% soy, I double wick my 16oz jars with the HTP104. Some require two HTP093's. This works for me. I normally get a full MP in about 1 hour, about 1/2" deep.

    There is a restaurant down the street with the same name. I want something different. I was thinking of Island Fruits. The watermelon is more like watermelon candy, I was thinking of calling it just that: Watermelon Candy or Watermelon Burst.

    The CC has the office smelling like a laundrymat. I will try a smaller wick, the MP is about 3/4" but the Jar is hot as heck.

    Now I pour my candles at 100 degrees (for the smooth tops) is this the only reason why we should pour so low. I mean if I pour at 150 degrees and the tops are rough and I pull out the heat gun will the hot throw be the same? I ask b/c when I make large batches it takes all night waiting for the temp to cool.

    I used 16oz Apoth Jars myself same width. I love the HTP wicks, mainly b/c I use Soy. Depending on the FO I normally use 2 HTP104's to start (1oz pp) and go from there. Im usually right on point with the 104's. However I have had to wick up to a 105 and down to a 93.

    100% Soy, 1oz pp, two HTP104's Clean Cotton - 2 week cure time. This was a lot better than before, got a full MP in about 1 hour. Fresh Linen - 1 week cure, pretty good scent. I would prefer the CC of this one though. Overall but have good cold and hot throw (cold is better), they are both light scents. CC smells more like fresh linen IMO.

    I used 16oz Apoth Jars (4" wide), I also have 12oz Apoth Jars (4" wide), is it safe to say that the same wicking method applies for the 12oz jar that I used for the 16oz jar? The only difference is the depth of the jar.

    Just like a bottle of wine, better with time. I usually let mine cure for 7 days

    Bruce is the MAN!!!!! As I said before I use this was, as with any wax you have to experiment. I 1st followed the instructions sent with the wax (dont ever do this) and expected perfect candles (NOT). I add my FO at 170 and pour at 100-110 (slushy) this is what works for me in my environment.

    How wide is that jar? I actually used a 17oz Honet Pot Jar the 104's were perfect for me.

    I use it and I love it, the tops are smooth if you pour in the slushy stage. Very creamy finish a swell. I use no addatives

    WT&G smells great when not lite, not feeling it hot. The throw was great just did not like the fragrance. Im adding it though!!!! Hyca....I used 1oz pp with 2-HTP104's & they drowned. I will cut down to 1/2oz pp & retest.

    I used two HTP104's with 1oz pp and I cannot get a full MP. This is surprising to me, never had to go over a 104 before. What do you use? Could it be b/c the are three fragrances in the oil?
