  1. Thanks Julie!! I'll have to give a look-see at Southern Soapers.
  2. Sounds nice! Thanx for sharing.
  3. Does anyone use their SS in lip balms?? If not what do you use to color yours with? I have been using lip safe Micas .... but I am wanting to try other things if possible. tia
  4. Woot!! That lloks and sounds FAB!!!! Great job Julie!
  5. WOW!! I love evrything about your soap! The colors are wonderful and I bet it smells heavenly.
  6. I use Castor in all my soaps without stickiness. I use at 5% as well. Maybe you should drop yours to 5% and see how it does.Just make sure that you use exactly everything you normally have in your recipe ..... just changing the amount of Castor. Be sure to use the same FO's as you did in the ones that are sticky. This way you have duplicated the process only changing the castor. Then you will know for sure if it is the castor causing you grief. (sorry for being soooo long winded) :lipsrseal
  7. I haven't used their FO's yet ..... but I just ordered Southern Peach, Tomato Vine and Blackberry! Can't wait to get them and play!!
  8. Where would you B&B 'experts' ()recommend for getting Cyclomethicone? I am in PA if it comes down to just a matter of shipping cost. tia
  9. LOL!! You crack me up! Beautiful swirlies you have there!! Love the color combo
  10. Simply stunning!! I love those colors together!
  11. I blend 223 and 125 all the time and I have great results. I insist on using a mix because I get better results that way. I do the same for my melt, votive & pillar waxes too. hth
  12. It all depends on the wax, FO, additives and wicks you are using. The best thing you could do is try it for yourself and see what works for you. Testing is what this "game" is all about! hth
  13. Love the color you have there. :highfive: I hope it stays vibrant for you!! Waiting patiently for some cut pics. lol
  14. Thanks for the input!! I will definitely get some samples asap.
  15. I have seen some on here that use this FO. I have a request for this for Father's Day, and I would like a little input on where to get a good quality FO that is B&B safe and good in candles too. I know it differs depending on the wax/wicks .... not a biggie to me. Just would like one that holds well and is strong. Thanks in advance.
  16. Here are the cut pics. Sorry it took so long .... life happens Thanks again for all the compliments
  17. Very nice looking. Don't think you coulda asked for a better save!! :highfive:
  18. Just cut it. Was gone all day yesterday, so this was the 1st chance I had. Will post pics in a bit.
  19. I have to agree with Carebear. When I swithched to Kokum, I didn't have the 'clogged pores' like I did when I used cocoa or shea. I have simply played around with most all of them now to see which ones work the best on my skin. hth
  20. With Select Shades you can mix colors together and create a lot of other colors. There are so many ways to make any shade of Purple you want with SS. I highly recommend getting some. http://www.selectshades.com/chart/howto.html
  21. That looks wonderful!!! I love the color you used ... it matches the name perfectly.
  22. Hi Sharyl!! I use Tranquil Waters from Flicker's. She has some awesome, kick @ss FO's. This FO is soooo clear that it looks like water ..... made it so much easier to get the look I wanted! Thanks for all the compliments ladies!
