    I was looking on Peaks site,it said the fo retention for this wax is 3% to 6%PP.This will be my first time using this wax,has anyone ever use 8% fo PP? Thanks,Anna

    When I first started out ,and was doing alot of testing,I had soot.Not so much anymore,since I learned what size wick to use.This is just my opinion,if you have to use Fo at 10% in you wax to get a hot throw,you need to change supplier. Anna

    Does anyone here sell at First Monday Trades Day,in Canton Tx.I am going the first of Oct to scout it out.I would love to rent a booth there.I have never done a show,can't get the nerve to do it.I have been making candles for three years,and I think I have a good line of candles,but just can't get the nerve to do it.     I have a votive kit from Peaks,and the list of supplys says 10 lb "SLAB" of Peaks votive blend MP:130.The wax that came with the kit is in a pellet form,that says Peaks votive blend MP:130.Can someone tell me what is the name of this wax. Another question,if you have used this wax do you get a good hot scent throw?I can't smell anything from none that I have made.They are burning good.I am using a LX12 wick.I don't think it is cande nose because I am testing a container in the bedroom,and I can smell it strong. Could it be this wax? Thank,Anna

    I have 25# of 4627,and hate it when it comes to wicking it.I need to use this wax.I make alot of wickless candle for teachers at school,was wondering if anyone every use 4627 for wickless,and if it makes a good wickless candle? Thanks,Anna

    You guys are to funny,Thanks to everyone for the infro.I have been using log molds,and got the freezer paper down pat,now to the slab mold. Thanks eugenia, "DUH" why didn't I think of cutting slits in the paper. Anna

    It was a five lb batch.I discounted the water.I did the zap test,and no zap.I am going to take a bath with it in the morning,and see what it does.Thanks,AJ for trying to help me. Anna

    This is a new recipe I made.I wash my hands with a piece of the soap,and after I dry my my hands they shrivel up.They felt so dry.Can someone please tell me what is wrong with the recipe. Avocada oil-10% Olive oil-16-% Canola oil-15% Mango butter-5% Palm-27% PKO Flakes-14% Coconut oil-13% Water-24 ozs Lye_11.3 ozs Thanks,Anna

    I use J50,and heat my wax to 190 degrees.I have my pour pot hot when I transfer the wax into it.I add my fo at 190 degrees.Stir for about two or three mintutes.Pour at 160 degrees.Never had a problem with hot throw.You can stir again while the wax is cooling.HTH's Anna

    I would love to buy from her,but the few scents I have tried does not have a hot throw. I use J50,can't figure out what is wrong. I don't have that problem with other suppliers(peaks,wixnwax,starville,greenleaf,candleand supplies).I don't want to say her fo's aren't good,I have read to many good reviews. Anna

    I use the 16 oz apoth,and J50 wax.I double wick.I have never found a wick that I could use just one ,wish I could.I use zinc wicks,and differance sizes for differant fo's.Anywhere from 44-24 to 51-32's.You just have to test each fo,and see which ones works best.

    Yes Tara,I have it the crock pot now,it is about ready to put in the mold.What do I do after this. I'm sorry but another ?,can I use the stick blender to blend more fo in? Anna
