I have 4625,how hot do you heat it to and what temp do you pour the melts?

Candybee what kind of wicks do you use with this wax?

I have been a member for awhile.I never post,only read.I was reading this tread and wondered how you guys get a HT with only using 8% FO in you melts.I can't.I use the parasoy ,four clamshells and 3 0zs of FO.Go ahead and tell me i'm crazy.

I use the lids from liquid deteragant(SP?).They work great,wash them with hot water and use again.

This is a great mixture,4826&4627 50/50.10ozs wax,2ozs fo.4 clamshells.Poured last night.decided to test this morning.Put two blocks in warmer at 7 AM,went to work,and came home at 5:30PM still thowing scent.I use warmers from Candlewarmers.

Thanks Ravens,I ordered a slab of the 4826.I mixed it 50/50 with 4627.I just poured it today,it harden before I got it all poured.I'll post the results when I test it.It's the hardest wax I have every seen.I put it in a pillow case and beat and beat it.LOL

Well it been awhile since I have posted.I hope I can get some help.I have been using the parasoy from Aroma Haven,and they are closed this week.I am needing wax for melts,and I am going to be in Keller,Tx Fri.That's where Lonestar located.Has anyone used their IGI4826.Hope to get some feedback.I read the older post, would like some newer feedback. I let the candle I made cure,and burned it got no HT.It always had a strong HT. Odered Chestnuts and Brown Sugar from Millcreek.Haven't put it in wax yet.

Yes Judy you are reading it right,it is a new bottle of fo.It's not a fo that I have never used,I have used it for a few years.I made a candle with it last night.I 'm going to let it cure for a couple days and test it myself.

I have alway used JS Chrestnut and Brown Sugar.

Never had a complaint before.

I have a lady about every six months calls and orders six cases of candles.3 Cream Brulee,3Chestnuts and Brownsugar.She called me Tonight,and wanted to know if I put less fo in the Chestnut and Brown Sugar.I told her no,that I think they have changed the fo.I made them same as always,same wax.The fo is from Just Scent,has anybody else had this problemThanks P.s.This was a new fo.

Starr it was around 75 degrees in the house. The recipe-Veg shorting-12ozs coconut oil-12ozs palm kernal flakes-12ozs shea-4ozs soybean oil-20 0zs olive oil-20ozs water-26 ozs lye- 11.30 Made it-CP The oils are from Starville,Strawberries&Cream,Mango Papaya.both are soap safe. Carrie,the oils and lye water was 100 degrees. After it trace and when I got it pour in the mold,the soap had already started to gell.I covered it with a thick towel and blanket,and left it for 24 hrs. WHAT do I need to do with it,Trash it.Hate to waste the oils.Thanks
