  1. I get my bags from Uline. I started with the 2ml bags but just switched to the 4ml because they keep in scent better.
  2. Just wondering if anyone has formed an LLC in their home state and then moved to a new state temporarily. I'm really tired of filing for a new set of papers every time I move and wondered if I can file an LLC in my home state of WY and then continue to conduct my online business in other states without the need to file a bunch of stuff. I'm reading LLCs for Dummies but haven't run across an answer to this yet in that book or anywhere on the web. TIA for the help.
  3. Pulled up your pics to see and hubby looking over my shoulder thought they were real cinnamon rolls.
  4. Hey Kimberly- I sent you a private message, please make sure you check! :smiley2:
  5. I went looking for the same info and this is what I found... Recommended storage for aroma beads. Hope it helps!
  6. I knew I remembered seeing them too... They are from Renuzit. There is more info here http://www.renuzit.com/about-renuzit/crystal-elements-ingredients/
  7. Just a note for all who use CS because I just read it the other day... be careful when ordering as they are re-formulating their oils to be phthalate free. I know it's not a big deal, but you may find that the scent may change. (If you want to read it too, it's in their FAQ section I believe) I love a lot of their oils in my aroma beads and am now waiting for my order with their new kettle corn!
  8. Hi! I'm really just getting my feet wet in a lot of things, but I have been making aroma bead sachets for a bit and testing them here in the heat of our summer. I tried the jars with the daisy lids here in the house and they didn't get enough air flow in my opinion so I can only smell them when up close. I also noticed that with the organza bags, if I went with the lighter color bags the beads tended to "melt" less that with dark bags. If the beads cure properly I wouldn't worry too much about hanging bags leaking, but I'm not sure about under the seat. Just my 2 cents. Good luck and be careful because buying the oils can be addictive!
  9. White was my thought too, and I have too many scents to have a different color bag for each scent. Thought of coloring the beads and still using white bags. I've noticed that the lighter color bags tend to attract less heat and the beads are less likely to "melt" in them. But I'm still not up to speed on coloring...
  10. Just wondering of anyone who sells sachets if you choose a specific color for each scent, go with one color no matter what scent or allow the customer to choose the color bag? Trying to decide on which I want to do. Thanks!
  11. Silly question but are they the small or large roaches? I don't think that the candles will make a difference.
  12. I've only smelled it OOB, but I just got Snow Angels from NG and it's a nice light buttercream and mint.
  13. Eve, if you don't mind my asking, where did you go for insurance?
  14. Thanks Kimberly! I will be in touch with you probably right after we get moved as I want to get going ASAP. :smiley2:
  15. Thanks for the help. I finally found something that was helpful after looking at the county website. Anyone else looking to start up in NY be aware that there is a website to help determine what permits/licenses you need. http://www.nys-opal.com Thanks again, you all rock!
  16. I'm so confused and too tired of googling and finding nothing. Are there any folks out there who know what licensing/permits I would need in Monroe County NY to sell online only? Or a website where I might find the answers? Thanks so much in advance! Kate
  17. I think they're pretty neat, but I wonder where we would get them for a wholesale account without the scents included. Oh duh! If I looked at the link that SherryL posted I wouldn't have posted this... sorry!
  18. Just back for another thought... if you decide to stay with 1&1, make sure you go through your own affiliate link when signing up for the e-commerce package... you'll get paid for your own sign up! :yay: Just got an email too saying that the first 3 months of an e-commerce package are free if you sign up for a year by 31 August.
  19. I went back to Bittercreek after my experiment. :rolleyes2 Glad I could help.
  20. There is more information in this thread. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83068&highlight=aromabeadsonline I know because I posted there about my experiences with them. I bought 2 1lb bags and I still have one. I didn't like how they worked for me. If you want to test for yourself, let me know and I'm more than happy to send you some.
  21. Just a thought, but since you were happy with 1&1 why not stay with them for e-commerce? I did and I'm building my site now.
  22. I use Mulberry from Candle Science. I think it's really strong, but folks tend to like it.
  23. I tried the search without the ""s and this is what I found for starville soaps on google. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&num=100&newwindow=1&q=starville+soap&aq=0p&oq=sta&aqi=g:p3g7 Also not sure if it's the one you meant, but I played around with the search for Tri-state, took out the CB and added fragrance oil and this is what I got. http://www.tristatecandlesupply.net/ Hope it helps. :smiley2:
  24. Just a note was curious about starville so tried their site and it's down right now. But there is a number posted if you need to order something.
