  1. What is Sapphire Blue's web address? I want a small amount to experiment with as I've never used it.
  2. Maybe 1 or 2 ounces of it. It depends how much shipping would be though if I'm interested or not. I don't care if it's activated or bamboo. I just have no idea where to get it where I live and I've tried pet stores.
  3. Thanks, I'll post cut pictures later today after I get home from work.
  4. Hello, Well I'd seen a 15 colour swirl soap a few times now and decided to give it a whirl. Thanks to KBShimmer's tutorial it worked. I was a little nervous to attempt this but so anxious to try it out. My sister helped me which was wonderful and eased my nerves. This is a my custom blend of Spearmint and Rosemary EO's. It's still in the fridge but I managed to take some photos. You can click the photos to see a bigger size. This is a close up photo: I'll post cut pics when it's ready.
  5. Nice, I love the watermelon one. What does EBC stand for?
  6. I've in envy of all these neat soap photos with Bamboo Charcoal. Has anyone found it in Canada?
  7. Your soaps look really cute. This sounds interesting for sure. So it doesn't taste like soap? I just think it would be awful but I've never tried it. Just recently figured out I was allergic to flouride. I had a bad sore throat problem for 10 weeks and the doctor wasn't sure what was happening. I'm going for an ultrasound to double check everything but originally my doctor thought it was an allergy to something outside. I knew it was something I was doing everyday and tried eliminated soy, not talking etc. Then about 4 days after I stopped using regular toothpaste it went away. I bought a natural type by Jason that I love but this sounds so interesting.
  8. Those look adorable, I want to reach out and grab one.
  9. This is my second attempt at room temp CP and it turned out well but I've never tried balls in soap before, and never added my fragrance to my oils before adding lye solution. This is the regular size bar and the purple was meant to be green: This is the larger size bar that was part of an overflow section I had ready to go. At the last minute I decided to change molds and had made my recipe for a different mold. M&P Soaps shot in my new light box I made on the week-end. It took me awhile to make it and I still have to fool around with camera settings: Vanilla Musk M&P: Cherry Blossom M&P: Thanks for looking.
  10. I have a custom soaphutch mold that I absolutely love. I can make log molds, slab mold with dividers and change sizes of my batch. I can make the Kelsei size or 3 1/2 x 2 1/4. I really wanted the option to have a size like Kelsei and for the longest time I wanted a Kelsei mold but decided to go with Soaphutch and have been so pleased with my mold. I took a long time designing it and Rich was so fun to chat with and he gave me great ideas too. Now I have a mold that will last me for years. Mine came with a silicone mat as well. If I make a CPHP or M&P I don't have to do anything at all. If I make a CP batch without sodium lactate then I have to lightly grease the sides (only because I can't wait long enough to unmold). If I'm patient with waiting then nothing has to be done.
  11. What a brilliant combination and I like the happy colour of your soap. I have Ginger EO that I don't care for but use it in a Chai Tea blend that works well. Ginger and Mango sounds divine though.
  12. That looks beautiful as always.
  13. Oh I'm sure he will love it. It looks wonderful.
  14. It looks wonderful and I like the colours you used.
  15. They all look beautiful and you have been busy.
  16. Very nice, I love the first one. I've went to Maui last year and it was wonderful. I also make Hawaiian type soaps to duplicate the heavenly smell there. Yours sounds heavenly.
  17. That looks wonderful and I love the swirlies.
  18. Thanks everyone. Carol, Rich does have standard molds (at least he did at one point) but I wanted something very specific and versatile so that I could have the option to make small batches and also larger ones when necessary. He can do whatever you want size wise. The standard is usually 3.5L x 2.25W but everyone has their own version of a standard bar. My customers don't like a bar that is too wide or high.
  19. Lovely soapies and I like the colours as well. My favourite is the last one. That real peanut butter one sounds cool (I'd be afraid to soap with real peanut butter only because I haven't tried it). Maybe the scent will mellow out with time.
  20. Both are really neat but I like the sound of the white and black one. The scent combo sounds interesting.
