  1. Interesting. Let us know how your burn test go. Did you purposefully cure for one month? Patience you have lol. I should get my larger wicks in the mail this week and will update.
  2. Thank You for the recommendations. We never have trouble with 464 or 444 by themselves, just when blending. I am hoping the wick up helps, but scientifically it doesn't make sense that I would need to wick up from adding paraffin, seems it should be the opposite so I'm stumped in that regard.
  3. Oh no! The same thing happened with wicking 464/4627. We didn't have any noticeable sink holes but major tunneling. I think your correct with the cavities forming. Thank you for replying 🙂
  4. To add: I tested the same with CD's and it tunneled with at those as well.
  5. We have been soy users for years. I am new to blends. I decided to start with 444 and 4627 but struggling with wicking. I thought since I was adding paraffin, I would either wick down or wicking would stay the same but the blend is tunneling in every scent I've tested. I know the easy fix is wick up and we will do that but I'm wondering if anyone could help me understand why this is happening as the melt point should be lower. Pictured left is bluberry 25/75 blend and on the right 464 both with premier 770. Soy burns perfectly. TIA!
  6. I figured out a solution. As long as I fill up into the neck of the jar it burns just fine. DUH! Should have thought of this sooner. Thanks for your input!! - Nichole
  7. The last time I tried, I never got too far as it would tunnel then drown out within the first half hour. Yes they can be a pain! Drives me bonkers!!
  8. Thank You for your reply Yes that is my problem too with wicking up. Once I get into my 2nd burn I get way too large of a flame and melt pool, but when I use the CD14 I get tunneling.
  9. Hello All! I hope you had a wonderful Holiday and a great start to 2016! I am having some wicking issues and am hoping you can give me some guidance. I used GB 464. My issues are only happening with some of JS scents and my 12 oz Mason Jar which is 2 3/4 in diameter. Specifically Mandarin Mimosa, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Cider Lane. With all other scents I use a CD 14 with that jar. I was getting tunneling with these scents so I wicked up to a cd16. First burn is perfect...all burns after are resulting in a too large of flame, too large melt pool, ect. What would you advise? Is the CD not hot enough for these heavier scents? Is the problem more with the height as I do not have to wick up with the small 8oz jelly jar. I use a cd10 with all my scents for that jar. It is so odd to me. Thank You Kindly - Nichole
  10. Thanks all!! It is not FO. Two of the same candles, same scent, same wick but didn't use heat gun on one burned totally different. The one I used heat gun on was tunneling and drowning. I wish I would have taken a picture of the side by side. Thankfully I kept it from drowning out and did power burn and it did start to straighten out. The other one had a beautiful flame and burned like that scent always burns. Sometimes I wonder if they accidentally put the wrong wicks in the bags. I had sold some of that same sent to a friend and called her right away to make sure hers were ok and thankfully they were!! I never thought of the length of the wicks making a difference. I use a 5inch CD 14 in those jars for most...I wick up for a few others, but all my wicks are 5 inch.
  11. Hello, I am hoping to find some help with a problem I'm having with tunneling. The candles I used a heat gun on are tunneling. The candles that I don't touch burn perfectly. Is this a common thing? I caught it on accident as I lit a candle for my own personal use and it tunneled. I thought maybe it has to do with burning off the wax coating. I use CD 14 in 12 oz country jar. It is 2" 3/4" in diameter. Thanks All!
  12. I am also very disappointed in their shipping prices. They charged me $15.00 for an order weighing only 3 pounds. I do like some of their oils but really hope they offer some more reasonable shipping options.
  13. Got my Bacon Oil and it definitely smells just like bacon! The dogs went nutz and one of them ate some of the shipping peanuts from the box. I think I'm gonna enlist hubby to make these...the bacon scent is just not for me.
  14. Thanks!! I'm gonna try SOS traditional Bacon. I have a person who ordered 50 small jars and doesn't mind that I haven't tested them....hope the Cold Throw is goodl!
  15. Looking for a true Bacon scent for Soy Candles. Wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction. I see NG has some but seeing some people thought it smelled awful. Thanks!

  18. Is anyone else having problems accessing the Candlewarmers.com site? I have called and tried their website but I keep getting an error message. When I called I was on hold for a really long time. Hopefully they will be back up soon. I need to place an order ASAP!
  19. I bought 20 of these and have sold 4. I just tested it and my tart didn't melt either. I called the company and she said that some of them work and some do not. They are giving me a full refund and sending me a label to ship the products back for free. She even said that if i wanted to try another bulb that If I sent them the receipt they would send me a refund for the bulbs. I am disappointed that they didn't work but the customer service was excellent!
  20. I am hoping someone can help me out with this. I always get my baggies from the candlesource, however they don't have them right now and don't know when they will be getting more of these. Does anyone have any 3x3 zip block baggies that I could buy or do you know who else carries these? Thank You so much!
  21. Your Welcome. I was just in there today and they had plenty of the honey pot jars. Many Blessings!
