I think it was Brad who said in the new year we will see prices drop. Lets hope it continues to go down:grin2:

Lebermuth has always gotten rave reviews along with IFT.
Thanks for that, I'll get onto them. Cheers

Hi, anyone recommend some good manufacturers where I can get very good FO at reasonable prices bulk? If so, do you know the min quantities. I have had quotes quite a long time time ago from Royal aromatics. I need to get from the manufacturers. Thanks all

Thanks, I ended up reverting to the RRD ones I had on hand but the thing I don't like about RRD's is they decrease the burning time for the candle.
I'm dying to try CDN's but can't seem to find them in Canada. Do they provide a long burning time similar to the HTP or LX? If I order from somewhere in the States I'll definitely try them out.
The RRD wicks are great, but to get the longer burn time you need to use the right size then you won't have a shorter burn time. I use them in 2oz tin and get up to 20 hours with 415 and CO with nothing extra. You need to test each FO.

I agree with this. Act like you are surprised at the errorMichele,You don't have to make it come across like a complaint when you call them. Just say you're confused because you were quoted $94 and the email confirmation is now saying $132.

Candlewic for me have some of the best FO, nice and strong and true to descripton
-
Candlewic has a nose burner "Cherry" which smells just like Black cherry and you only need 5%. Beware that your nose hairs WILL be burnt!!!!!!
-
Take special note of the weather as this is pivotal in this wax. Too quick or slow cooling will alter everything.

I agree with Stella. What wax, wick, etc

I like RRD wicks for natural waxes in containers. Test, test, test. You will come up with the right combo

Have to hijack your post for a minute!!! Hey Brad, how is the cost of paraffin doing. Any good news? Carole
58% increase this year so far for us. Not good and intending to go up further
-
She could have overwicked her jar so it is burning well, but much quicker. A lot of these people do overwick to show that it burns the whole candle, but the burn time is minimal. If you use RRd wicks, you could achieve a full melt pool and complete burn in this container with a good long burn time

In 415 soy, I use RRd 40-47 with great results

Just been advised by my supplier that my paraffin has now gone up again. This is a 58% increase this year!!!! They say that supply is understripped by demand in the world. I asked why it is up when the fuel prices are down and was told: Demand outstrips supply so tough luck, basically. Are you all getting this typical response?

I wish I could get up at 10.30 to start my day!! I start and 6am and end at 11pm every day.

Sorry, for me it is to monotone. In other words, you get tired of the colour and move on

Tell her that your special price for her to collect her order is double what you sell them for. If she asks why, tell her she is getting a special service not provided normally.

I find 415 is better with HT but vanilla needs to be loaded into wax otherwise it can be weak
