    One of my best sellers is Citrus Splash from Bitter Creek SOuth. It does well in soy without that strong fuel smell....also does great in B&B. I really do not know how others compare cause this is the only orange I have personally tried. Lysa

    I hear you can use it a year after the exp. date....but not sure so I'd say try and see. I would use an oil I knew threw well so I would know if age had any effect.....let us know! Lysa

    I pour 2-3 a week and maybe more when I get orders....I basically have too many scents to keep stock on every scent. Here lately I have been pouring once I get an order in. My problem is I only do soy so I can't have a ton of stock cause then i have to deal with those ugly frosting issues. I have been playing around lately with valentine chunk and soaps...but I really need to get some candles poured today for my booths I rent.

    wow these are great....when i reordered these new ones Mike informed me that the wick trimmers changed and went up in price a little so I was a little hesistant to order in fact I only ordered 24 to see...but WOW these are super nice. They cut better than the last type and the notch to help folks measure the wick is awesome....They are so worth it. The fact that they come in a box and seem more heavy duty make them worth every penny to me! Have not decided on a Retail price yet though:confused: .

    GUESS I'LL head over to our H-E-B and see if they have any...I'm itching to try this glade soy candle....i need to be prepared when someone brings it up....... Thanks ya'll.......lol I am from Tx and I really don't think I use "yall" alot but it never fails anytime we are around guys that are not from Tx that is the first thing they notice sooooo maybe I do use it alot????

    I only use cd wicks with 444....so far no problems for me with wicking however lately my candles are not looking so hot with the 444. I am having heatgun EVERY candle I pour, but back when I bought a test case my candles were awesome so I bought a whole pallet now cant get a decent looking without lots of work..... oh well I have a pallet so i have to make it work huh? good luck!     oh my gosh I could have wrote this exact post.....my 444 was dated 7-28-08 and well we have crater city too..... i love 444 for the scent throw but i have to heat gun every single candle.....and I hate it. Got to love soy, if my customers werent so into pure soy candle I would try to mix with paraffin..... hope you did not lose any customers over this!

    hey I have ordered the bowls from BCS and yes they fit on the warmers from HObby Lobby however imo they look awful.....the bowl is ceramic and the warmer is plastic and they look odd..... but yes they do fit!

    HEY just curious what color are you guys doing reindeer poo in? I poured up some testers tonight and just left them dye free but husband thinks they need to be an ugly brown...i personally cant see a christmas scent that color? Would love to know! Thanks Lysa

    HI everyone...After lots of web searching I cannot seem to find a site that is selling christmas/holiday jars....I found some small 3oz tumblers(too small)and a few a BCN but other than that nothing else?     I just had a special request for Pink Sugar and Pink so now I am looking for a PS for soy(gw444) and one that is also body safe. I need one that throws well in soy! Also just so I know what is the difference in scents between Pink and Pink Sugar and which is better in your opinion. Thanks! Lysa

    just had another complaint about my longhorns melting....OMG I think I am going to CRY....one of these accounts is a new account and she is selling the air fresheners like crazy!!!! WHAT to do......I do not want to cause alarm with my accounts and kinda hoping the fall weather will save me since the weather is cooler these days but at the same time I want to save face and warn them-just in cause?? I am stuck!

    on my black lids I use a gold label.... I think anything metallic or depending on your jar/candle style I have even seen Kraft.....

    Hi and welcome! yes I too know all about the addiction of candles. Ive only been making for a year now and all I know is I wake up thinking of candles and go to bed thinking about candles. My hard work and research is paying off as I know have 3 wholesale accounts and my one consignment turned into a wholesale account today!!! Can't wait for that check!!

    yeah I am sitting debating on a Pure Bliss Recall...... I called the supplier and they are checking to see the temp they start to melt....the melt point, i guess? Anyhow I am still nervous and hoping not to get any calls over this!

    I just recently used some Scent a Beads from NuScents and noticed the air fresheners I made with them are melting in cars??? I am a nervous wreck as I have 100's out in shops...So far I have gotten 2 complaints and never had this problem when using the ones from BCS Aroma Beads. My question is are these beads different and are some beads not meant to melt and use as airfresheners? I switched back to BCS Aroma Beads but what is the difference? Anyone know? Anyone have had this happen???? Lysa

    oh..thank u so much everyone.....you guys are good, now to decide!!! Oh I am not renaming it.....I am just going to label this one batch with the new name and say while supplies last......It is still going to be pineapple ginger I just do not want it to be on the shelf with all the other pineapple gingers and be a different color, KWIM? Knowing my luck nobody will like Pineapple ginger but love the other.......lol
