Well I was making a batch of Pineapple ginger and got very distracted and accidently made my pineapple ginger orange instead of yellow.....really do not want to sell it as orange so thought I would rename this batch another name that would be appropriate ....I was thinking of Autumn spice or something but Pineapple Ginger smells nothing like Autumn so any ideas or suggestions would be great....my brain is fried right now:undecided !

ok now I do not feel so bad.....Um in that case maybe I want to make an order.....lol saw a few more fall scents that look so yummy! Lysa

I can say that Vanilla Pear and Vanilla Nutmeg did very well for me in my soy wax.....I had a customer request vanilla nutmeg and I am thrilled they have it again for $5.00 so def going to order more.....I so did not need to see about this sale....lol:D Lysa

Does anyone know who or where I can purchase small body poufs....I found some at dollar tree that were perfect for my flowering loofah soaps...but now I am out and cannot find the small ones? I have searched all the Dollar trees in my area but cannot find them... They were a 6 pak of assorted colors for 1.00 which came out to about .16 each. Ok so I knew I had a lot of oils but I figured around 90-100....my husband sat me down and we went through all my oils making a spreadsheet with suppliers, wicking etc.... Well much to my surprise I had a total of 194 different oils....not duplicates 194 different oils???*faint* OMG I knew I needed help but my dear I did not realize..... Ok so luckily my husband did not get mad he thought it was kinda funny, but he did put me on a testing schedule and that is cool cause I about to test for my fall lineup.....WOW I need to seriously stop reading reviews oils and stay off this board. Everytime I read a good review I have to urge to order.... Ok who else has this same addiction?? Just humor me please....lol

I get all my bags from Nashville wraps....very reasonable. They also have shrink wrap bags cheaper than the polypro bags....HTH Lysa

Hey thanks momtohaley..... I was kinda thinking the same thing about being too wordy.......Not sure how I could make pics larger since prostores converts them???? Sure there is a way I just need to figure it out.....I know if you click on them they get larger?? Thanks everyone for your replies and advice, I have read the links and have learned alot. We submitted our sitemap 8/01/08 and already saw an improvement on search engine searches.... Now as far as my scripture.....I will say this as softly as I can. I was inspired from God to start my business. It was made very clear that I had to honor God. After praying the scipture was revealed to me "I am the light of the world..." John 8:12 which I was so thrilled that scripture was used....what a perfect scripture for candles(light!) Well much to my surprise God did not give me this scripture just because it was appropriate for candles but that it was my duty as a christian to serve as a light to the world. As our business grows and becomes a profitable business it has been made clear to my husband and I that we are to be the "light of world" and support missions of the world. Now if I had tons of web traffic and had no sales then maybe it could have been the scripture limiting my sales, however when I posted my post it was to get traffic....So honestly I do not think the scripture itself is deterring traffic.... I feel very stong about proclaiming the word of God, of course it is your choice to hear it or not, however it will not stop me. In fact every product I sell has the scripture on it, labels, etc....so maybe I should have a disclaimer, lol I feel if someone decides not to purchase my products based on the scripture then that is a personal preference and I honor that. But, you know there is a but, I as a christian feel where one door closes another one opens! Thanks everyone for your replies and heres hoping to more traffic and more sales... I have had my website now for about 4 months and well other than my family and close friends I really have had no traffic. I googled my site and key words and I come right up but what else do you guys do to get traffic. I feel my prices are competitive and can't figure out why I have only had 6 sales on my site in four months? I think I am either forgetting about something or just do not know??? lol Any tips would be helpful, I already pass out business cards like crazy and I have car magnets with my site and info....(I catch people reading it all the time when driving!) I need traffic and more important sales from the traffic.... what do you guys do. I have a small goal of getting 20 sales a month. (hey it is a start). I too was wondering the same thing???? I am using BCS Aroma Beads and several different FO and all only last about 2 weeks if that. I kinda thought it was caused by really hot temps here in Tx, I even started making them thicker and making sure they do not stay in oven too long. Nothing I have done has improved the duration. I recently had one of my wholesale accounts complain and I really do not know what else to do...any advice anyone? Lysa

We love Redwood Cedar and we also use 415... I must warn you it is STRONG....Too strong for me but my Husband loves it!!! Bert also has very reasonable shipping, it is better to order and fill a flat rate box to make your shipping count! She is AWESOME and I have had good luck with so many of her oils. All we use is SOY. Lysa

Does anyone know if any other suppliers have a good Cranberry Citrus/Orange? I usually order from French Color but I am unable to buy the 25lb minimum right now and desperately need some, so I wondering if anyone know any suppliers they may either carry French Color and Fragrance oils or have one that is a great dupe. I tried BCN but they do not carry that scent in FC&F. I am using soy wax so anyone has experience with a good cranberry citrus in soy I would love to know as soon as possible...I am totally out and this is a HUGE seller...HELP! TIA Lysa

Try Clicking on the Right side where it says quick candles label, it has an option where you can pick the background and type in your custom wording, I just had some made and they were perfect for my soaps listed all the ingredients and everything. I was very pleased with the labels I just wish they were a little cheaper.

YIKES!! IS THAT ABOUT THE PRICE FOR THESE BOTTLES.....50 FOR THE BOTTLE AND 1.25 FOR THE FOAMER? THAT IS 1.75 JUST FOR THE BOTTLE.....What do this soaps sell for?

I just recently started making room/linen sprays and I ordered the 4oz slimline from specialtybottle. Pro-I love the look- Bottles look very high end-especially with the right labels and with the brushed aluminum you do not have to worry about cloudy base..... Con the bottles tend to leak ,not at the cap where they screw on but at the atomizer(wierd right). So anyhow I just ordered a new batch from Elements so maybe they wont leak(about the same price, however you must but the tops separate) BTW Linen Sprays are super easy to make!!! Love them and I hope they turn out to be $$$$$ makers....

I found the website and got distracted andhad to step away from computer, now I cannot remember the website or name of label company....help they have been the most reasonable on pricing that i have found but now I cannot find them....anyone know who I am talking about...It is not Labelsbythesheet. I just started using ProPay and so far works good for me since I only process very few CC a month. I pd 59.00 for the whole year and then 2-3% on tranactions along with a transfer fee of .30 Saves me that monthly fee. Still come out ahead too. So far no problems.
