  1. Hello All, I have not been on here forever and took a couple of years off after having my little. I am getting started again and looking for a good tart/melt wax. I would like one that has a fabulous HT. I was using a 100% soy before but it would crumble when trying to get out of the clamshells. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I cannot wait to start making again as I have missed it terribly!! Thanks Everyone!
  2. Do you just sell them like tarts? I have wondered about these.
  3. Now I really feel bad. I have not received one e-mail from her.
  4. You know babygirl, I was wondering that as well. But since the move, I have not been able to try anything so I kinda just put everything on the back burner. I would definately be interested in knowing the same thing.
  5. Sounds interesting. Might have to put this on my to try list.
  6. How do you make powdered incense? I have never heard of it.
  7. I found that the scents never lasted long either. I will have to try the mister bottle and see how that goes. You stated that you sell the freshener with the mister. What do you sell those for?
  8. I really like those!! Just one more thing to try!!
  9. I use the 415 and will add the CO 76 to help with the frost. I have added some stearic acid to a few testers to help with hardness but have not heard anything back from my testers yet.

    ornies?

They don't look THAT awful!! If you want brighter colors, I would use less color. Also, I have metal molds so I bend them before each use to lay flat. I also do not cook mine as long as the BC site says. Yours look like they cooked to long. And like others have said, I also trim off any weird excess if it bothers me. I know the first time I made these, they looked worse than yours. I cooked them way too long and the colors were supposed to be a bright blue and red. I got gross and grosser!! But I cut way back on the colors and have not had a problem since. Also, I sometimes use the powdered dyes and will get some cool variations. Good luck and just try again!!
  11. Thanks so much for the help Barbara!! I am going to be making some more this week so I will try that.
  12. Hi all, I was wondering if any of you add extra FO to wickless candles or melts/tarts or if you add a refresher bottle of FO in like 1/2 dram size so that the scents can be refreshed when they fade? I had someone ask me about a refresher bottle and thought I would get some input on what others do. Thanks in Advance for the help!!
  13. Thanks Barbara. I have the oil dispersable. Can I use that??
  14. The ones that were ordered for the co-op from this thread were actually 10 cavity 10 oz ones. The 6 oz ones were some that I found after the fact.
  15. Very pretty!! What are you using for getting such nice colors??
  16. Do you know what the ratios would be in mixing the glycerin and powder? I never thought about a white or goats milk color making it harder to color, but now that you mention it, it makes sense. I will have to try some in the clear and try mixing the two to see how it works. I was just really, really disappointed at the icky grayish color I got in place of a lavender color.
  17. I added the color directly to the soap base and I did pop it back in the microwave after. It was supposed to be lavender and is a gross grayish color. I don't have the liquid but was thinking of getting some of those to try as well.
  18. I was making some soap today and using the TBK Pop Micas but I cannot get deep colors. Do I add the colors to the soap directly or do I mix them with something else?
  19. $40!! That is outrageous for a bunch of string. I bet you could make them with the DC floss thread and some type of sachet in the middle.
  20. I wonder if that would work for migraines too?? How do you make that oil if you don't mind sharing? I get migraines a good bit and nothing helps at all.
