I have been successful double wicking 16oz apoth jars using 44-28-18 in J50 wax and getting a full melt pool. My only concern is that I think the neck of the jar is too warm to the touch for the first 3 hours of burn. After that I don't seem to have the same problem still warm but not uncomfortable. I also tried 2 CD10's and am having the same problem. I tried going down to 2CD8's but did not get a good melt pool. Any suggestions???? Maybe I should just give up on the apoth jars.

I recentlytested the superior wicks in 16 oz apoth. Used two W635 and was very happy. I use j50 wax. Has anyone used one superior wick in the 16oz apoth with paraffin wax? I would love to find a wick that I could single wick the 16oz apoth with.

I just made JS christmas wreath in J50. No cold throw and very little hot throw. You have to get over the candle to smell the scent. Anyone have successwith this scent. I used 1.5 oz pp.

I use 4794, works great

I get my silicone bulbs from Candles & Supplies in Pa. They sell the 7watt bulb for .$99 when you purchase 25 or more.

4794 - great imo. Scent throw is super

I use CD wicks with j50 in 4& 8 oz jj and find them to work best. Very little soot.

What color do you use for applejack and peel and christmas splendor? I already use different shades of red for some scents.

I purchased a candle business 3 years ago and the previous owner predominately used the fo's from connies candles. I have continued to use her fo's and have been very happy with them. They throw great. I use j50 for my containers and 4794 for my votives.

Not desirable to my nose. Also for some reason food scents don't seem to sell too well around here. Have not sold any brownie scents or cappichino brulee,. I love both scents but can't seem to move them

I have the fragrance snickerdoodle from c&s and it isn't my favorite scent nor has it been a big seller for me. I was wondering has anybody combined another fragrance with it to spike it up? I was thinking that maybe a little cinnimon stick added might help. Any suggetions?

A.C. Moore carries the cylinders and bell inserts. I can't remember the cost but I do know that you could probably get a discount if you order a large number of them

Has anybody purchased from candlescience? I use j50 and 4794 wax. I am looking for superior fragrances for my candles. Would appreciate any info on this company

The bank is Bank of America. Large well known bank. I haven't been able to find many that won't require a minimum monthly and extra fees. If anyone has a better alternative please let me know. I don't have any problems with credit personally.

The rep told me that I can be month to month and the terminal is 10.00 ( a knucklebuster) and $10.00 for an electronic one. I also aked him about canceling my account and he told me they needed a 30 day notice and the return of the terminals.

Just received JS Santarini and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on the scent throw. I use J50 for my containers. Read that JS fragrances are great in bath and body but some claim little fragrance throw in wax.

I am in the midst of investigating being able to accept credit cards for our candle business. We do not have a website yet but we do go to craft fairs and am starting to get some wholesale accounts. I would just like some input from anyone as to this credit card processing company. CitadelEFT associated with Bank of America. Rep told me that there is no contract, no extra fees other than $5.00 per month statement fee. No minimum per month and that we could go month to month with them. Visa and Mastercard - 2.03% +22cents transaction fee. If we wanted to add Amex 3.5% +22, and Discover 2.2% plus 22. It almost sounds too good to be true and I am a bit skeptical. Has anybody an opinion.???

I get my smoke eliminator scent from Connies Candles and have been very happy with it. I use J50 container wax and 4794 for my votives and tarts. I also use the smoke eliminator scent for aroma beads. Ingrid

Apple Jack and Peel, Sage & Citrus Macintosh Apple Peaches & Peonies I like these and C&S has an offer when you purchase four or more fragrance oils you pay less. I have not had a problem with shipping because I always ask the cost of shipping when I place my order this way, if I can add more for the same price or a bit more I can do so at that time. I have never experienced anything but helpfulness from Cindy or the girls that work there.

Just received the following scents from JS. Would appreciate any feedback about these scents. I use J50 for containers and 4794 for votives and tarts. Christmas Wish Exhale White Tea & Ginger Yuzu Oxygen. Was considering using Oxygen and White Tea and Ginger for electric candles and Exhale and Yuzu for aroma wands.

I recently purchased 3 scents from Bittercreek for the reed diffusers. Two out of the three just don't have a scent throw. I was wondering could I add some fragrance oil like cinnamon or pine to increase the throw. If anyone has any info it would be helpful, I hate to waste the oils. If I can use them for other things that would be good too.
