  1. Both are great, but I'd kill the size alil.
  2. I get 90% of my oils from there... I can't tell the difference between the two. I order 1# B grades when I need alot, or A grades when I am testing or new only a small amount. I do wish that they offered the B grades in smaller qtys, but thats life!
  3. We did our first batches of bath salts today. Apple Sugar Banana Pudding Island Mango Strawberry Pink Grapefruit Lavender The colored turned out great, except for the lavender, which came out more hunter green than purple. When added to water, they do tint the water purple, but they are green to the eye. Any tips on getting a true purple, or is that a fantasy!?:tiptoe:
  4. http://wholesalesuppliesplus.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=3405 http://www.thecandlemakersstore.com/product/BSTLOTA/Soy_Thick_Hand_Body_Creme_1__3_Gallons.html HTH Tristan
  5. Personally, if you really wanted to do this, I would tell her that you can provided she gives you ample time to test the jars for quality. You could also suggest she provide you with a case to sample and test them, scent, wicks, so on. Or if you have a supplier that you are more comfortable with, see if they have a similar product that you can provide your customer. HTH Tristan
  6. Ignorance of the law is no excuse! :rolleyes2 It does suck however, especially with something like vitamin E, which has a proven track record of what it can do. I mean, I could understand is someone said... "Our soap cures disease!" It's a two double edged sword when it comes to labeling. As a consumer, you want to know what is in a product. As a business person, even when making a natural product, labeling with the scientific and botanical names looks scary to a customer. "You say that your product is all natural... why are there ingredients with words a mile long!?!":tiptoe:
  7. I'm aware of the regular labeling requirements, sizing, and so on... it just boggled my mind seeing all these company's with vit. E.
  8. That's what's so confusing about it all. I must have found 200 similar websites offering Vitamin E in their lip balms, and making statements that it moisturizes your lips better, yadda yadda...
  9. They are in stock.... $.35 each They are 2.5" straight sided.
  10. I'd have to see if they would have them in stock, and in the qty you needed.
  11. International flat rates run 31.30.... Regular priority is cheaper, depending on the weight.
  12. We use 3" plastic clothes pins from the dollar store. They are cheap as hell, and the spring is centered perfectly so the wick fits right though it.
  13. What about lip balms like this that have Vitamin E? http://www.beenaturalstore.com/the-best-all-natural-lip-balm.html Granted.. I don't know if they are certified or not.
  14. Furthermore, high price doesn't always mean high quality. I'd rather purchase from a handmade crafter than a company that slaps together a product, throws on a snazzy label, and charges 10x what the product is worth. I've seen "luxury" candles going for $50+ that had more sink holes in it than a road after a water main break. Thread & Tread Lightly! That advice is free of charge! :tiptoe:
  15. Aside from the fact that you are new to the business... I would start by learning how to spell luxury before trying to sell a line of products based around the concept. :tiptoe::tiptoe::tiptoe:
  16. They looked like stickers to me. Cute thou.
  17. That's one thing you really have to watch. Our shipping costs were nearly $10.00 more than the cost of the actual case of wax. :lipsrseal
  18. She's in Canada... I just noticed that. Your shipping is going to be higher regardless of where you get them in the states. I'd look for a local supplier in ONT, or at least one in the country.
  19. :laugh2::laugh2: :Picks up the phone: "Hello... FBI.... You might wanna check out Stella!" :laugh2:
  20. I'd imagine you could prolly fit 10 dozen in a flat rate. So, you'd need 2 flat rate boxes. Hmmm....
