I made my first time batch of Firestarters this weekend!! they turned out GREAT if I do say so myself~LOL...Scented in Mulberry and my house smells awesome STILL of the lingering scent...!! Today I am going to spend family time as my hubby is home today so guess if he is gonna pay for all this "therapy supplies" I better spend some family time with him~LOL.. Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place to find these would be? either online or retail store?? I need some for a few potential Gifts for Christmas this year.. lol.. my kids are going to make some of the bath salts and give to their teachers & grandparents and I want to put the little scoops tied on the sides with a ribbon bow and we dont want to put alot of money in it since "little people dont make much money" ~ Thx in advance!! Is there a supplier that carries a similar scent to SPICED CIDER that is like the one from C&S??? I have a customer that wants a candle of that scent but I hate to order for just one 1oz bottle of it and pay the higher S/H charges to get it here if I can get other ones all together ... I checked CS and got subs for the other 2 scents but they dont have what I am wanting for the spiced cider one... any help will be appreciated.. Thanks much! Jenni

Ok.. is IGI 4794 Blended Parafin wax good to use to make the Clamshell tarts? I found this from my supplier to be the closest thing to what resembeled votive wax.. please tell me before I place an order for some~lol.. Thanks in advance~ Jenni:D

You can eat lettuce.. has to be SHREADED lettuce! it doesnt have the harsh digestion problem that the leaf lettuce does.. dont know why.. but it is just easier to "process" i guess~lol.. I still eat fried foods.. just have to limit the intake on them.. lol~ you learn what you can and cant handle .. its like everything else.. personal option cuz everyone is different~ Jenni~

well If I lived closer to you all i would definately chop you up some wax so you could get that "candle therapy" goin on! lol.. I have to have it.. I am an ADDICT.. I admit it.. I am PROUD of it~HAHAHAHAHA Best wishes to you all.. I had the surgery done when I was 21 yr old.. and best advice I can tell you : DO NOT EAT LEAF LETTUCE or if you do.. STAY CLOSE TO A BATHROOM!!!! The scents that bother me I use a filter mask over my nose and mouth (like surgical ones only thicker) lol. and also have to do this to mow yard too... and sometimes have been known to even put vicks salve under my nose to drown out the "offending" scent as some of them do give me MIGRAINES! Hope this gives you some alternatives to help ya out... Jenni

The apple spice is really nice! I like it anyway~lol.. They are curing up nicely! I will test burn them this week and let ya know how that part comes out! but I will tell u this much.. they smell AWESOME!!

with all this talk about these babies.. I have a ?? about them... I have Parafin wax (C&S Honeywell J50 one pour) and was wondering if you use that can you pour into PLASTIC ice trays, rubber molds, etc??? I love the cute molds they have at Walmart for cookies and muffins and thought they would make the neatest ones! Also.. would I have to spray any type of release agent on the mold first? (if so what do you guys recommend?) I dont want to melt anything I pour this stuff into and have a waxy mess..hubby would kill me! Anybody out there .. suppliers included.. know where I can get a PLAIN FO of SAGE.. not combined with any other scent???? I want it just by itself for a friend that is wanting a candle of just that scent alone..not mixed with eucalyptus, or chamomile, etc.. Just plain ole Sage~lol.. oh I almost forgot.. yes I remembered to put it all down in my TEST notebook!~lol.. so I will remember all of it for later because I will be making more of this scent! When the testing process is complete.. I will post the results if anyone is interested...

I am soooo excited.. I just mixed up my own batch receipe of this FO scents and wanted to share for any newbies (like myself) that may want to try it. It is a blend of: Cranberry (1/4oz) AppleSpice (1/4oz) and a touch of Vanilla I called it Cranberry Apple Souffle and it smells AWESOME!!! I am soooo tickled.. now to wait for it to cure and I get to burn it! FO's suppliers: Cranberry: Chemessence (sorry I dont remember the abbreviation) AppleSpice: C&S Vanilla: C&S This is my first time to mix scents together and so I am just tickled pink at how it actually WORKED! (the simplest things in life just thrill me! ) Thanks for letting me get all excited here! No one here at my house to share with and it is too late for me to call anyone that would really care ... nobody in my family understands why I want to do this when you can buy them.. EXCUSE ME.. Im gettin in on this one this week too.. I am going 2 play around with some Fall/Autum Scent mixtures this weekend: Spiced CranApple (blend of Spiced Apple & Cranberry) Cranberry Cobbler ala Mode (blend of Cranberry & Vanilla Nutmeg) I am excited about these.. I am still working on the right blend mixtures and almost have them "perfected" to what I want them to be so that will be the tonight project. Jenni
