  1. Lets hope (fingers crossed) it is as good or better than their original. When they reformulated their Indonesian Teak it was not the same as the old formula...at least not to me.
  2. Deb, I saw some in the classies a few days ago. :smiley2:
  3. :rolleyes2 WOW!! Soy, you were a bit harsh with Stella. She and Top have been very helpful in answering your questions. JMO
  4. GL Candle Supply. Used to be Green Leaf. :smiley2:
  5. Ashley, for a newby you might want to go with a smaller jar which will be easier to wick. The larger jars are a pain to wick especially for a newby. Main thing is to try not to get stressed out and have fun testing!
  6. Thank you Carrie. It seems they have discontinued that scent as it is not on their site.
  7. OOPS!! My mistake. I misread the name.:lipsrseal BCN discontinued the Woodland Trail then Fancy Cat Candle Supply duped it, but I don't know if she still has it available. I tried a sample and did not like it at all. Sorry about that. :tiptoe:
  8. Hi, I just got some from ICS. They had discontinued it.....but is available again. I also like Lonestar (Autumn Lodge). :smiley2:
  9. SS discontinued their Patchouli/Amber, one of my favorite scents. Anyone know who else carries this scent? What a bummer it was really strong in soy.
  10. I came upon this interesting article about soy wax. Basically debating the best soy wax for containers. Tim Murphy from Elevance had some interesting things to say. Two waxes mentioned as being chemically almost exactly the same were the C-3 & Ecosoya Advanced. Then he goes on to explain the differences. For those interested this is the site: candlejars.net/debating-the-best-soy-wax-for-candles
  11. Hi Sandy, JBN no longer carries the USA additive. You can get it from CMS-thecandlemakersstore.com. There is another supplier but I can't think of it right now. Maybe someone else can chime in with the name.
  12. Maybe someone has a little of the Twigs and Berries Santa's Pipe left and can have it duped then some of us can go in on a co-op. Just a thought. :rolleyes2
  13. I bought a lb of the Winter Blast last year after hearing so many raves about it, but it did not throw for me at all in my soy! I was kind of bummed about it but maybe I'll give another scent a try from there. :tiptoe:
  14. Ok, this is weird. I just e-mailed Kathy last night about bringing back the Woodland Spice (Autumn Lodge) and she is looking into it. If you guys let her know you want some also that would be great. She had to look into the minimum lbs she had to order which she thought was 10 lbs. I said if no one else wanted any I would take the 10 lbs. I have not heard back yet, but with more people wanting it she will most likely order some.
  15. Thanks Carol, I have tried it but it's not the exact scent...very close though. I still have 4 lbs left so I am going to try to get it duped. It is one of my favorite scents.
  16. Hello if anyone has any (Mountain Sage) discontinued from GL I would like to buy some. You can PM me. TIA:)
  17. I think Gelluminations and Tradewinds should merge their companies together, they both get a big fat O when it comes to customer service and or availability of oils in stock!!! :laugh2:
  18. You might want to check AAA Candle Supply or Reikes.
  19. Charm, remember not all fragrance oils no matter the quality are going to have a good throw all the time. You just have to keep testing other fragrances till you find one that throws for you. I have many oils that I loved oob but when I put it in wax it did nothing. That is why many of us literally go through testing samples by the gazillions when looking for that perfect throw!! Don't change waxes if you like the one you have, you will have the same problem with any other wax. Just keep on testing till you find the right fragrances that will throw in your C-3. That is just part of the learning process. There are many threads here that name fragrances that do well in the C-3. HTH
  20. Has anyone used any of their fragrance oils for candles? They have a couple of interesting one's. It's weird because if you want to order a lb they have to order it directly from the manufacturer, which results in a longer waiting period to get it. TIA
