  1. I order mine from Texas Natural Supply. If you use it in a white base, it will only be a gray color.
  2. I usually use the one from BB or WSP.
  3. Go to Learning Library, then click on Soap making library, then scroll down the page on the right side it says Tub Soap Labels you can choose the color and vertical or horizontal labels.
  4. Wow! Stunning! Amazing! What gorgeous soap
  5. Thanks everyone for your suggestion. So he was referring to my shrink wrap and bubble wrap probably for not being Eco friendly?
  6. I had a customer buy some soap and cologne oil from me, he said he loved the products but I wasn't eco friendly. I do melt & pour and the soap was a thick large 6 oz bar, I do shrink wrap all my soaps. Since this bar would not fit into a soap box, I put it in an organza bag. The cologne oil also goes into a small box. I do wrap all of my products for shipping in bubble wrap also. For those who can educated me, what are some of my options for packaging and shipping? TIA
  7. I get my 4x6 bags at papermart you get 500 for 5.96. They also carry 6x6 for 500 for 6.56. They shrink very well.
  8. I really like Juniper Aloe and Lime Crystal Kisses
  9. How much fragrance oil do you add?
  10. I know Just Scent has it, but don't know how it compares to the original.
  11. Right now I am loving BB Pineapple Cilantro Mango Peach Salsa
  12. I have had 2 requests from males to do some Patchouli EO. I did tell them that I can make it with some jojoba oil and put it in a roll on for them. I don't usually work with EO's, I can't seem to find the exact answer on how much to use. Please any % suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
  13. Try Essential Wholesale, I have tried a few of their creams and like them.
  14. Thank you, I will try an call them tomorrow and ask, since this response was thru email. I have been looking on Etsy and Artfire and people on there are selling the exact bases without anything add to it. If they are insured what insurance co. are they using? or maybe not insured!
  15. I received a response from RLI about insurance, and making sure that what I make would be covered. I wanted to sell 5 pre-made bases from Essential Wholesale for a facial line. RLI response was you can't repackage it and put your name on it, but you could add something to it and then it would be covered. I really don't want to add fragrance or color to these. But would just adding a drop of color or fragrance to 16 oz of base, be enough to say I added something to it? TIA
  16. CareBear, thank you for sharing your knowledge on this. I think I will use these just for home scenting..
  17. Thank you for the information. When I ordered these, I didn't have plans to put them in soap. I asked Bert about this and this is her short version reply. Just in case anyone else wants to try it in B&B. I can tell you that a lot of our customers have been using these for bath and body. Here is how I would test it. I would take 1 drop of the oil and mix it with 16 drops of carrier oil and rub some on the inside of my wrist and wait several hours to see if there is a reaction of any kind. You can also make up a test bar of soap if that is what you prefer to do. Then wash your arm with the soap.
  18. I picked these up on her sale, It did state not tested in B&B products. I would like to try these in some MP, how do you know if it's skin safe? Has anyone tried these in B&B yet? TIA
  19. I'm not having alot of luck either. I bought the jumbo size salts from Saltworks. The first time I used bath dye, sprayed them let them dry add more fragrance and let them dry. I couldn't smell it when I put it in the warmer. The 2nd batch I add alot more fragrance, it never competely dried, it smelled nice on the kitchen counter, but I really didn't get a great throw in warmer. I was using a strong fo. Now I have a couple of small batches of scented salt, I put them in warmer and just pour more fragrance over the top of them, only then can I really smell it.
  20. I was searching tonight and I ran across a picture of these at Lakeside Collections, don't look like they carry them now. I never seen these, they have a electric tart warmer that looks like a toaster.
  21. The batch I just did I use the small sea salt. Off the top of my head, I think its JBN site it says to mix fo & dpg I didn't try that method.
