Since I've started I've got a few formulas under my belt but haven't really given anything out yet because I want "perfection"....... Well the other day I visited with my sister and gave her a lotion bar I kept in my truck for my hands. I wasn't sure she would like it because she is just so picky............ Long story short, she called yesterday and loved it, only could I make it bigger so she could use it on her legs. "You know, like in deod tube.", she said? (uhh yea, I can do that.) I am so happy to get positive feedback. It means a lot coming from her because she's very honest about how she feels. Ya'll have been really good to me and you're my extended creative family so I just needed to share that with you!

I just checked out your web page and your stuff looks wonderful. No wonder they want you, I bet your candles smell devine! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! Happy dance for you!

And I thought this was some kind of strange DNA I had in my family. It's nice to know I'm not the only one. It used to drive my husband crazy I would change things so much. He's convinced I've remodeled the closet 3 different times, even though all I've done is move things. About your name & logo - maybe this will make you feel a little better. I read a business article that said right about the time you are sick of your name and want to change it, is the time that people are actually recognizing it. That most people want to change after a year and it's a huge mistake. BTW - It's not cheesy and your logo is great. You're right, you just have an itch, go move the furniture. Some things you just have to leave alone.

Thanks CareBare - Grapeseed Oil. I probably shouldn't have put GSO. Sorry. I thought that may have been the problem but I tried to be really careful. I didn't let it boil and only did like 10 second shots and then stir. I'm gonna go check if they're sticky - grrr, YUP, they're a little sticky. Hmmmm.

I got my SFIC order from Peaks!!! I was so excited I couldn't wait to play. I used what I thought was an easy enough recipe. It has some drag, low lather, and feels tight and waxy afterwards. Maybe I shouldn't have added the shea to the cocoa? Maybe it needed more oil? Maybe I should have used just the base first before messing with it? What do you think? 8oz of cocoa butter base 2 tsp of shea 1 tsp of gso half tsp of fo *I feel like such a failure

I just checked your site so I didn't see it before you revised the colors and I think it's beautiful. I love the flower & the colors. I think your name should be a bit bigger, so people know where they've landed without looking for it. I didn't check all of your pages but overall GREAT JOB. The only thing that caught my attention was the glare on your pic's. I think your site screams "top notch" and I think the photo's may actually detract from that.

I am so sorry ya'll, I totally forgot about this thread. I got my order from Candle Science just like promised. I ordered 8oz each of Chardonnay (used in lotion, love), Cucumber Melon (like but this is my fault b/c I'm sick to death of sweet smells) & Cool Citrus Basil (not used yet but out of the bottle - love, love, love). As far as the coastal scents, thanks for the input. It just shocked me, all the other suppliers I've purchased from use the amber glass, except one, and they were white sample bottles. I take back any bad vibes I sent out to them until I use their product. I hope it is good stuff, they're really close!

Soy is so right. The business formula for someone wanting to have a high end clientle would look like this. (premium product + premium packaging + premium market = premium price)

Your site is very pretty. I really like your background and layout. On your opening page - In your second paragraph, you used the word little twice in the last sentence. Maybe just drop the first one all together? On your about us page - It looks as though you have a second person writing it and then you say myself. It just doesn't flow to me. On your ing. page - I think you need commas before and after the consumer. I'm not positive though, I'm guilty of over using them. On your faq page - Again it still doesn't seem to flow the right way. The word precise is used twice in "how is soap made" and it feels like the information is repetitve. On your info page - On the return part you have "products and to maintain" and I think it should say "products and in order to maintain". I'm not sure if you know it but when you write something you should read it aloud. It'll help you find errors. HTH BTW, your soaps are beautiful.

Wow, after comparing ing. lists I see why ya'll say SFIC. Okay one more question, can you tell me how the co-ops work? I'm not at my 30 days yet so I know I can't do it but wouldn't I rather only order a small amount right now and then do a co-op when it comes back up? I'm guessing the prices are better, is that right?
