Family Gatherings, Autumn Harvest, Rocky Mountain Pine, well... all of her Christmas scents, actually.

So who makes Black Velvet or is this a blend of yours?
It's what I'm testing for the luxury candle exchange.

I'll go and be your 'helper'.. meaning that I'll take your share of the low calorie drinks... just doing my part, eh?
Seriously, best of luck!!

I refuse to be chastised for wanting a sale. Daystar's FO's ARE more expensive than other suppliers. I choose to use some of Stacy's oils because I really like them. However, there are other suppliers who post every week in the supplier section offering a sale of some sort. Even more who offer sales through their Yahoo group. A 10% sale basically covers shipping, but it's a great incentive to utilize a supplier. Even suppliers who have FO that isn't priced as highly have sales on samples or like Tn, offer free shipping as an incentive to buy more. I don't expect any supplier to give me product for free. A good sale tells me that they are interested in ME as a consumer, and interested in ME feeding MY family as well. It tells me that they are motivated to not only get new customers, but take care of the ones that they have.

I guess you aren't really interested in what anyone is saying then, since it seems as though you have your mind made up. But, a full melt pool in anything less than 3 hours in a 3" is WAY over wicked. 45 minutes?? An hour?? I don't even care if my melt pool reaches the sides of the jar on the first burn. I don't want it to. I want it to get close... but catch up on the subsequent burns. Soy wax burns down, then out. If you have a full melt pool in that short amount of time, it's very, very overwicked.

using 'js' and 'fall' as my key search words, I found 23 links to pages. I'm too lazy to copy/paste for you.

only one I haven't tested is the grapefruit...
The rest are really good. I especially like the balsam & citrus.
ETA: the summer garden wasn't for my tastes. It threw ok in 444, but it's not what I was expecting. More of a suntan lotiony smell.

It's best to use a digital scale. Everything is much more accurate if you go by weight as opposed to volume. So, when you hear 7% per pound of wax, that means 1.12 oz, by weight, of FO to 16 oz, by weight, of wax.
Make sense?

what'd you get from Flicker's?? Huh, huh?? What'd ya get??
eta: this is as bad as going to a restaurant with someone and asking them what they are getting... as if it will reflect upon what I get....

I found these really neat index cards at Wal-Mart that are perforated so that you can tear them in half. They have a hole in the corner and a ring that they all go on. I have a ring of FO to be tested. A ring of tested that did well. A ring of FO that I want to purchase. Etc. Etc.

link for you, Scented.

I've decided to boycott pumpkin....

beats me, but if there is sugar or alcohol in them, they've got to be some kind of good...

mmmm... dirt with avalanche... that sounds interesting enough to try! Have you actually done this, or is this something new?

I'll play nice....
if you're working with a natural wax, there is a sticky in that section with several different suppliers. If you're working with paraffin, I'm not that much help because I'm one of the gluttons who sticks with soy.
Many people choose suppliers closest to them because shipping eats away at perfectly good money that could be spent on more FO.
If you supply more information, as in what type of wax, then you'll get more specific answers. Personally, I have 8 main suppliers that I utilize for FO. And that has potential for growth because someone was mean.. I mean KIND enough to suggest Heartfelt to me.
If you look at the top of this forum, there is a sticky of suppliers by state. That will give you a list of suppliers close to you...
Happy testing!

are you looking for the best pumpkin FO?

I just got apple martini in... who's got it worse?

Bah Hum Bug - summer scent, beach scent, etc.
Grinch - tart apple
Black Cat - little black dress (AH)
Spider Webs (don't say cider-web) - something cloying, something lingering... but I can't decide what, lol
Ghost - anything from ICS or JS, cuz I can't get those FO to throw... it's a ghost of a scent for me!

in a container over 3", I wouldn't want a full MP in 2 hours. Definitely not 30 minutes. Wow.
