  1. I started with NG's and now use JS's...I think they are almost identical.
  2. The cups at Sam's have a #6...the lids are ok to use, though.
  3. Looks like Keystone is out. And as for Candles & Supplies...there is no way I would ever order from there again...they overcharge on shipping. Thanks anyway ladies...I'll keep looking and hope someone else here may have an idea.
  4. I cannot believe Big Lots has discontinued these. I spoke with their corporate office and they said they were sold out and would not be getting them back again. I sell these pumpkin jars every year at the one and only craft show that I do. They are such good sellers for me. Does anyone know where you can get these elsewhere? Or maybe something similar??
  5. Here's the link: http://www.kaleahimports.com/tart_warmers.html I just got them in today and they are so beautiful in person. I highly recommend this supplier. He shipped them out within 1 day of payment!
  6. Thanks for the link. But, I'm really looking for solid colored burners. I did find another place to order some burners and got them all for $5.00 each and the best part was they charged an awesome amount for shipping. I ordered 36 burners (12 each of three different styles). This place made you purchase at least a case of each style, but I'm fine with that. Thanks again for the link...would love to know if there are more out there.
  7. I've been googling for a few days trying to find some new suppliers for wholesale combo candle warmers like the ones at OBI and Candles & Supplies. Does anyone here have some links to others? OBI is out of the cream color until October (otherwise I would order from them) and C&S wants to overcharge on shipping. Would love to know if there are others out there...
  8. These candles are made where I'm originally from in Nebraska (my hometown, I guess lol). It is a really big deal for most of the people that live around there to go out to the "Barn" when they open. They have special weekends when they open up to the public and sell all kinds of crafts, food and candles. They have truckloads of glass stored behind their buildings. These jars are custom made with their name on them and a barn imprinted into the glass. To think, they started out so small, just selling craft items and now they are selling so much that they have "truckloads" of jars! They are neat though...
  9. I didn't buy mine on ebay, but mine is collapsible and I use three flood lamps (can buy these cheap at Walmart). I use the cool tone florescent bulbs in them and put one on each side and one above. I have mine setup in a cubby of sorts (up out of the way on a large shelf) and just attach the flood lamps (which have a large clamp) around the tent. HTH
  10. I also use both Paypal and Propay. Both have their own pros and cons. I have noticed in the past year that more people are wanting to go with the credit card option (Propay). I think some people just shy away from Paypal or don't realize they do not need an account to use it. I have the premium account with Propay, this allows you to accept visa, master card, discover and amex. Plus you can phone it in from craft shows with this option (although I've never used this, as it gets too busy to actually call it in). I figure it's no different than taking a personal check...same risk. I personally think its nice having both...gives your customers an option.
  11. HP 2600n Color Laser here...wouldn't ever go back to inkjet.
  12. Scent ARE good! I did the same Cindy...bought lots of new ones and love almost every single one! I am LOVIN' the Casaba Mist...can't seem to get enough of it, since quitting smoking. Who knew how different everything would smell, when you can actually smell it? Damn smoking messed up my nose for almost 20 years...feels great to be free!
  13. If I were you, I would buy elastic thread for them. Measure about double or triple what their wrist size is and cut it. Tie a knot in one end for them and let them have at with the beads. .5mm would probably be the size you need for thread. It fits most normal size beads, especially the ones for kids. When they are done, simply tie the ends in a knot and you are good to go. I just had my daughter's 9th birthday party and we had them make lava lip gloss and smelly jellies...it was so fun!
  14. I bought my light tent from here: http://www.obuynow.com/ after having them recommended by someone here at CT. It works great for photos, but like others have said here...you need a good photo editing program (I use Photoshop) to get them looking bright white. I use two flood lamps with flourescent bulbs.
  15. I have this printer and it never prints blurry on my labels. My guess would be that it is the coating on the labels you purchased. I print on glossy white labels from onlinelabels.com and they print perfectly from me. HTH
  16. I don't make soap, but did a candle with a mix of crushed ginger and apricot...smelled devine!
  17. Hi Amanda! If you have any other questions let me know...I've been with them long enough to know the ins and outs and will try to help if I can.
  18. No, you don't have to leave that feature on when you go through checkout. Some site owners don't realize you can turn that off.
  19. Does anyone have a review (or two lol) they could give me on this scent? I was just doing laundry this morning and used Surf Sparkling Ocean...wonder if there is a dupe of that...smells sooooo good! I would also like to know, if Casaba Mist would be a good scent for me, if I usually don't do any fresh/floral scents? Help is much appreciated...
  20. UPDATE: I mixed vanilla in with the peppermint and pine and now it smells MUCH better! It smoothed it out, I think. Thanks for the input everyone...I appreciate it. I would like to know, if anyone else sells much pine or if it's kind of a dud seller?
  21. And I really didn't mix the peppermint and pine, it is an already mixed scent. I just poured cranberry spice over it...
  22. No, it's not dangerous (lol)...it's just stinky (to me anyway). A bulk of my business is mixing scents (double scents...one chunks...one overpour). I think what my main question was do people really want a pine-type scent. Good Lord...I wouldn't sell something if it was going to make someone sick LOL.
  23. Thanks...I just don't know if it is me or it just stinks? My hubby seems to think it smells alright? Maybe I'm just not a "pine" person? It's definitely strong...that's for sure!
  24. I just got done pouring this scent (for the second time) mixed with cranberry spice and I think I'm going to be sick! Is it worth it to continue testing a "pine-type" scent? Do customers buy pine scents??? Seems like the pine is overtaking everything else in the mix (peppermint, pine and cranberry spice)...yikes!
