  1. Thanx ladies, I love the names. I've got the cut pictures. Do you think it's too uhm......well....colorful for the scent/name anyways?:undecided Here they go....
  2. Although the pink is not what I was looking for, it's not too bad.:undecided I need a softer pink, and maybe no purple. (...sorry rambling) The scent is, "Lick me all over", now I like the scent, ...but the name, well...I dont like. Has anyone had this scent, and renamed it? Can you guys help me rename this? Thanks a bunch, cut pics coming too.
  3. Or see if you can get ur hands on a winebox. Some liqueur stores throw them away!
  4. Glad I came across this post! I was just about to soap the raspberry, hoping to get a pinkish color. I also thought the strawberry was the one that morphed.....whoa i'm not looking for orange. What else can i use for a pink, besides neon of course....oh well
  5. Can't stop looking........ .......carry on.
  6. Oh thanx so much! When tha vets compliment, I feel I'm getting it right. I thought layers would be so difficult, but it was really fun and not that hard.:highfive: Thanks to all of your help, this forum is so close knit and inspirational! That fear has passed and I've crossed that hump!:bliss:yay....
  7. I havent soaped all summer, so I finally had a little me time and made a batch. If you notice there's a cup sitting next to my soap that inspired my color selection. Just thought I'd share, the scent is of course Juniper. It's also my first attempt at layering. In the mold The colors looked pretty dead on at first... Out of the mold... The colors looks pretty different now, like blue and lime, I guess it's the flash inside my homemade lightbox.:undecided It's suppose to be, Teal, mint and lavender! Well... it still smells really good. Thanx for looking.

  12. ^^^What she said, another co-op anyone??
  13. Those are cute, but are they comfortable in your hands?
  14. Looking good lady! Must see cut picz.
  15. Thanx Gran. I used the foam liners at first too, but these are less trouble for me, no preparation. I used the GE Silicon II Kitchen & Bath, 100% Silicon Sealant. I used putty knives to spread the sealant! I havent used my slabs yet, so I'm unsure how many bars I'll get out of that one, since I dont make big batches yet.:undecided ETA I havent quite mastered cutting evenly though....
  16. I have a similar chest from Ikea also, but mine has 3 logs and @ the bottom 2 slabs! As far as the logs go, my finished soap depending on how many oz I pour, measures 3.5x2.5 with 9 bars. I also used the silicon inside, to keep from lining them. They're great and cheap! Excuse the shoddy pics, but this gives u an idea of the soap size and the silicon applied inside. HTH
  17. Really, ....I smelled my 4lbs I bought the other day, and I definitely cant smell any of that! I've never soaped with it, but I know some soapers can be a bit neg., when it comes to animal fats in general. So I was a lil apprehensive about trying it. Guess I'll find out the pros and cons for myself.:tiptoe:
  18. Really, I was just there buying some of their, Lou Anne's coconut oil, (which I didnt know until recently, they carried:rolleyes2), and I saw that big bag, but I didnt see that price! I just got the 4lb. to try it out.
  19. WOW! That is fantastic. You go girl.:highfive:
