I have ordered from them before, never the base you were looking at, but I did order shower gel and thier diaper rash cream which worked GREAT!

I am totally lost (surprise lol) I bought 2 drawer organizers today (9x6x2) *thinking it would work. Now as I sit here trying to fiugre out how I would cut the soap so it wouldn't look fugly, I don't think this will work. I did a search for drawer orgnaizer but noone ever says what size they used. I basically want a log mold since my cutting abilities are lacking. Can anyone help me with what size to get? I am looking for something to make 2# batches. OR if there are any other suggestions for a 2# log mold, I'd appreciate it!

Hopefully this will work. I have never posted images just links. Anyway here is Darwins recipe, scented with Spring Rain from Peaks, colored with gel tones from BCN. Both held up GREAT!However I played around to much so it is kinda crumbly looking <BR> Green Tea from MillCreek, colored with Bright Green Gel tones, I used too little so it faded. MY FAULT! <BR> My first cp with a swirl attempt lol of course I screwed up again lol Scented MC Butt Naked, still going strong. Colored with BCN Ultramarine blue and bright green gel tones

Made this recipe yesterday using cphp. It rocks! Not drying AT ALL! Great recipe thanks for sharing!!

Is there a post somewhere that shows you what a bad batch looks like? Trying to search for it. THis is frustrating

Well I think I made a soap making record in one night. The cphp batch I made is all crumbly looking, I am scared to touch it because it *may fall apart. The cp batch I dont think it worked. Its a little warm in the mold but I dont think it ever got to the gel stage. I peeked at it before I went to bed and it didnt look any different. So I wrapped it back up with the towels. This morning it looks the same as it did last night. How do I know if I screwed this up. I think my mold was wrong. I bought a plastic tray mold from MMS that said it was for cp but I just dont think I pulled this one off. Is there anyway to tell if this worked or not? I dont even have ash.

Those are really really nice! I am going to have to try those one day. What types of labels do you use? I need to find labels for my 4ounce tins.

I used the dyes from Michaels. They worked fine for me (wasn't trying to accomplish much) I also bought the dye chips from BCN, they would NOT dissolve. I would keep heating the soap and it would never melt. :::shrugs::

Made a cphp batch than got an itch to do cp. It's been at least 3 years since I did a cp batch. I forgot that I have an addiciton to the stick blender lol Tried to swirl, of course I can never keep things simple-tried 2 swirls rofl. Looks really interesting in the mold. Not sure what this will look like, I was at a THICK trace when I swirled so I basically had to spoon it around. So hopefully this works, going to take a peek shortly.

I have a postage scale that I use. it weighs from 5lbs to 0.1 ounce. I make 2 lb batches and havent had a problem as of yet. However when I make lotion I have a scale that I got at office depot for $35 that weighs ounces and grams.

Do you use? I have the petite loaf pan which I love because its easy to jam the soap in there but not too crazy about the bottom being all rough. Tried the wally world knock off of crystal light which I love. But I want more than just round soaps. So now I want to use a different mold that maybe would be more of a log mold. I just want a different look to my soap. TIA

I cant remember which scent is was that I used and it didnt stick or whatever you want to call it. I agree I wish they would put body safe on the labels as well. LOVE the scents in soy and B&B products. So far I used the green tea in cphp and it is still going strong (although I personally do not like the scent lol) also used Love Spell and it stuck like glue rofl. Oh it was black raspberry vanilla that didnt stay with the soap for some reason. It was more than likely that is was my error(pouring it in too hot and not letting it cool) but there was a puff of steam and the scent was gone lol Oh well at least I know now to wait a while before I add the fo

I may have to try some more! I tried the lavender and it worked pretty well. I used green too but it didnt work, totally my fault though. It was really bright and I got scared that I used too much so I added more soap to it. I think I went overboard.

Right now just personal use. One day I may get the confidence to give them away.

I will have to try that. I have to try alot of things lol One batch of soap I made the scent burned off or maybe I didnt add enough. Who knows. I am having a blast trying all of these things out though. FFiguring in a year or so I may be ready to have someone try a bar lol

I sent an email asking for the fp's and she said sure just give her the scents. obviously she didnt realize that all my scents come from her. I have used all of these in thier soy wax. All of them have a great throw especailly the watermelon! Butterscotch and cotton candy have been HUGE sellers for me

I need help! I have been making soy tarts for 4 years. Decided to try wickless. I use MC's soy wax with some beeswax. My tarts have always been really strong using mostly MC's fragrances at 1.5 oz per pound. I tried the wickless using the same way I make tarts thinking it would be stronger than the tarts because of the size. I used Peaks tins with Jamacan me crazy scent and really cant smell a thing. Using 1oz fo per pound. My question is-do I have to up the fo with wickless? Are they supposed to be strong as in fill up the room with the scent or am I expecting too much from these? I don't want to give up just yet but I am not impressed at all. I am now melting one that used Yling Ylang Ginger from MC and I think it may be a little better. Any advice appreciated!
