I am sooooooo excited! I cant wait for my order from MMS to get here! Although I can see it now, the oils will get here, I will make excuses for 3 weeks before I attempt it, than I will spend an additional 6 weeks steralizing and trying to find a pretty hair net before I get the guts to try to make it!! lol When I decided to make soap it took me about 2 months to get the nerve to mess with the lye. Of course after I finally made soap I lol@myself for acting so stupid.

A year ago or more, I ordered from a store that has the BEST face cream. Unfortunately the store has since closed and my face is extrememly dry!The Ingredients listed are jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, mow ra butter, ewax, stearic, and germabin.Any suggestions on how I can make this? I do not have mow ra butter though.It was the only thing that moisturized my face without drying it out and in these cold Illinois winters I need some more!

I decided to try this one2 grams Citric Acid14 grams Liquid Glycerin24 grams Stearic Acid49 grams Emulsifying Wax40 grams Mango Butter70 grams Sweet Almond Oil20 grams Colorless Jojoba Oil823 grams Distilled Water8 grams Germaben IIBut my scales lowest weight is .01 ounce so I am either going to have to convert it to ounces (Lord help me!) or find a scale somewhere. I have never done this before and am so excited!! However I am really nervous about the sanitizing! Any tips appreciated!

Once upon a time I was a memeber here but have forgotten my password and user name lolI stopped making candles and B&B for a while but have found myself missing it, so I am back.One thing I always wanted to do but never did make, was lotion. I NEED to accomplish this so I can die happy lolI have swearched the forums and numerous websites but can't seem to find a recipe that I am comfortable enough with.I want a lotion that holds the scent, absorbs quickly and moisturizes. Any help please?Oh and I really want to use Mago ButterAny help appreciated
