What jars are you using? I use CBA for my 8oz. square masons and I generally use a CD 14-16 in most all sents and that is using color and 1oz. per lb. of fo.

Carol,Soshie & Judy! Thanks..I had brain freeze like you wouldn't believe! My notes and lists of all my fo's are @ my shop hence still frozen under a couple of feet of snowbanks! Hopefully it will be melted by next week then I can actually get them! I like all of the ideas especially the one about earth, wind and fire! Awesome! I am starting a new line using a tumbler..very simple,hence the name "Simplicity"...now,I need some simple scents just for that line..besides Vanilla...Apple...LOL! I have Blue Sugar and Sugar cane in a baggie i just did, it doesn't smell good yet..I cannot stand the smell of that stuff...I love Pink Sugar,it is my fav. scent.Go figure!? I was reading on another forum and one lady adds 1oz. fo to every 14oz. of wax. She said it works out great for her and it saves alot of small steps. Hi Derek! About curing...I agree with Stella! If you want to test for the burn you can light it up 24-48hrs. after it's made. If you don't get a strong enough Cold Throw after 48 hours i would def. switch fo supplier and go on to another one.That is why testing is so important and buying fo in 1oz. bottles is best it will save you time, money and STRESS! LOL! Just like the wicks..if you are still testing those get the assorted pkg. it will also save a bunch of all of the above I mentioned! LOL! Ask me...I know! I am just getting back into the swing of things after about a year of taking a break! We moved to a different county and I was stressed and bummed...I didn't really want to start over in a new town..but now I am re-energized! i am getting the "ITCH" LOL! I love the Cd wicks or the CSN wicks(which is made especially for soy) I am not familiar with the LX since it's been about 7 years that I used them..I am pretty sure,since I switched,I didn't like them.I have tested 135 but then I went to 50 Advanced 50 415..but alot of ppl don't like Advanced because only certain fo's throw well in it and it takes up to 7-8 days to cure for some scents.That is why I mixed it..HTH..a little.? Well, in my area Pine..Balsam for sure ( I like Mistletoe from CS myself), any kind of cinnamon/apple, peppermint( I like frostbite) , Mulberry, Cranberry Spice , and of course Sissy's Sugar Cookie from BCS. I think I am going with a tumbler..Taylored Concepts has one with a lid I like...also candles and supplies has a 10oz. frosted tumbler I like but I noticed it is a closeout..sooo...I am still looking, but I really think I am leaning towards a tumbler. Awww...and all of your lovely photo's I so admired on your site! Now you have to do new one's! UGH! I bet that took alot of time! I see you are from MD...I was raised in MD..I graduated in Clinton,MD from a christian school.I miss the area..although it has changed alot since I graduated in 83.
