  1. Hey Brat! Those look nice. The color came out very good. Where in S. LA are you? I am in Lutcher.
  2. I have way too much to do this weekend. My first show is Sunday- only 12-5pm. I still have some containers left to pour and finish packaging my votives and air fresheners. I also want to get a few gift baskets put together. Wish me luck! I am so nervous! Good luck to everyone else w/ shows or open houses this weekend.
  3. Congratulations! Your display is perfect! Good going on the great sales. My first show is Sunday and I am so nervous. :undecided
  4. I love the name and label looks great! Good going!:highfive:
  5. Those are beautiful! I have to make votives and tarts tomorrow. Have been putting it off. I have my first show next weekend. Good luck at the market.
  6. I just read on another board that her oils are not good at all.
  7. Dee- your snowman is cute! You are very talented.
  8. The bigger size would be great w/ the turkey roaster. How long does it take to melt your wax in it? I think I heard it is a lot slower melting the wax than the presto.
  9. Thanks Robin. I'll try that. Grumpy Girl- This is my first one poured. I bought a big mug at Dollar General. It's almost like a soup mug I guess. I just poured so haven't tested my wicks yet. I put 2 51z's to start with. I also got some really cute christmas mugs at dollar tree w/ snow flakes. I'll post some pics when I get them right. I did this last year but I was using J223. I have some left. Maybe adding some to the 4627 will give it a creamier look.
  10. I haven't tried ICS but plan to in the near future ( like when I can come up with some more $). Has anyone tried the Sugar Milk? It sounds yummy!
  11. It is a total one pour. I have never had to do a repour.
  12. That's the kind I use ... it's the ultra fine kind that's in the craft section by scrapbooking stuff.__________________ Thanks Bev. I'm going to have to make a shopping trip tomorrow.
  13. I have been using Dreamsicle from BCS. It is great and no fuel smell. I got a bottle from Becky at JS on my last order but haven't poured any yet. I hate to hear others are not liking it.
  14. Those are so cute. I got some small embeds in today that I am going to use w/ my candy corn, hot cocoa, and cinnamon bun. They are tiny and I am going to put them on the top of my container candles. I was just thinking this morning how cute some glitter would be on the angel wings. That's a great idea for the pink sugar also. Didn't think of that. Do y'all use the glitter like u can buy at wally world in the craft section?
  15. I tried the J223 when I first started making candles. It's a nice wax but I was happier w/ the 4627 for the scent throw- hot and cold. The 44-32-18z is what I use for most of my fo's in the 8 oz. jj. Hope this helps. Let us know how your testing goes.
  16. Hi All! Once again I need some help. I am making hot cocoa container candles for the holidays. I can't get the color right.:embarasse I want it tan w/ a creamy color to it. I am using 4627 and liquid dyes. I tried brown w/ some white from a block but it wasn't even close. Looks more like coffee or tea. I have some color blocks also. Any suggestions?
  17. I have to clean house this weekend. I am on vacation from my full time job all next week and will be making a little of everything. Can't wait! I have a show coming up to get ready for.
  18. That's super! Let us know how it goes w/ the store owner.
  19. Those are adorable. I would buy them. You are so creative.
  20. I poured My Secret Recipe yesterday. Can't wait to light it!
