wow i have totally been there with the accidental motting...in fact, it happened yesterday! and in the same color!! i had an order for a candy corn cone shape, and the white and yellow were perfect, but the orange came out mottled all the way around. so i feel your pain!

thanks everyone! i used parafin wax and i poured at a really high temp, maybe 180 or 190 and it came out mottled

i have a special request for a candle w/ tulips embedded. i am wondering how the heck i can do that!! i suppose i will just have to pick the petals individually and embed it that way, but the last time i worked w/ flower petals (i used rose), most petals floated to the top and teh candle came out awful. maybe i should use fake petals? ANY info would be great!! thanks!!

I have been gone for so long! Who knew graduate school would be this busy... Here is a Christmas tree I made for a friend. Although I think it looks more like a big gum drop than a Christmas tree, but my friend is happy with it! Scented Spiced Pumpkin.
