That's funny! My first (and last) try at marbles came out the same way. I had to plop it into the mold too. It came out kinda cool but in a rustic sorta way. I too would like to know how you all get a smooth pillar out of that.

Hi all, I have never posted any of my candles on here, but seeing as I look at all your guy's stuff all the time I thought I'd share mine too! When I first started making candles last year I knew I wanted to master embeding photos in hurricanes, and I have done it! Here's just a few I have done along with a million others. I'll post some of my regular pillars once I get some good ones. I have just about mastered those, but still having difficulty with scent throws and wic sizes for all my different size molds. I don't know what you guys use out there, but I hate hold a molds! My greatest find was a pair of gardening gloves, the cloth ones with rubber fingers. They work fantastic! The silicone fingers grip the mold, are heat proof, and water proof! How perfect is that?
