No, I leanered from all this & in a way hoped it didnt happen, but hey, you live & learn.. Yes I am a military wife & have been sharing with the others. They like my hurricanes...Plus everyone knows qwhat they are getting for christmas..I love the gift basket idea someone mentioned..A great way to be creative.

I read somewhere about wicking pins..(to hold wick in place above the containers & molds. I did a search & cant find anything..maybe Im caling it the wrong thing though. ANyone what i'm talking about? Right now i'm using kabob sticks..but move to much..lol I need another method. Please Angie B

Thank you MICHI...thuths? I did jump the gun, but I felt like I was being bashed by the pros. Once again I'm sorry. You do seem like you know what your doing & I'd love help from you, if your willing to give it. Help me become the pro like you guys. I know it takes alot of practicing..I know cause one of my marbles didnt quite turn out the way I would have liked it to last night..lol I have made some that I was proud of & some I could have sat on the kitchen floor & cried over..lol Once again I have listened to you & taken alot into consideration. I use straight paraffin wax..I tried the soy/paraffin & wasnt to happy with it. Great tip on pouring methods..i'll try that next time. Ice candles..i had one & tried burning it & well it didnt do all that good & thats why I asked..do they usually burn right? Cause mine didnt. But i did hear about using tapers in center of crushed ice & so you actualy jsut burn the taper. You can exchange the tapers out as well. I'm gonna try that too.

I completely get what everyones saying..HONESTLY! I have done ALOT of thinking on this & have been speaking with my mother n law (which is the one that has the know how on codeing websites) I dont make changes, she does..I wouldnt know how if i tried..& yes the under construction has been up for about a month now. I am taking alot of my stuff off my site..Alot of things some ppl have brought to my attention scared me & made me open my eyes. I'm going to do some changes with the Gels maybe try forever candles see how they work. Thanks to a few ppl in here...yes I have come to realize that i do have alot more to learn. Amynlee....Thanks for sharing the 4 day turn around... hearing that made alot of sence. The part where I said I almost mastered..i guess I have worded that wrong. I didnt mean I mastered candle making..TO ME...being a "newbie" I thought I was doing good & having a few turn out, was amazing to me, so yes I felt like i had mastered it, in my head...but i now know that having mastered candle making well it is a insult to you pro's & I am sorry..truely sorry..I didnt mean for that to sound that way. Make sence? I hope this makes everyone happy here. I dont know what else to say. I have explained myself over & over & some just keep cutting me open. I came here to learn & ended up getting hurt. Now I know I shouldnt have started the site just after 3 months of testing, but maybe saying it alittle differently..maybe I would have taking it a lot better. Please give me feedback & I promise I wont take it badly..I did this one as a cold pour/rustic...with apple spice scent.. Question though.air bubbles..i had some on the surface..I just poped them, but can they cause any danger when burning? Another question about Ice candles..How do they burn..with all the holes...wouldnt it cause it to melt to fast? Just a thought..I've only done 2 ice candles..just wondering if anyone else has? this is just a chunk candle I did..today

Thank you Crafty Chris...You brought up alot of issues I have thought about...the heart, yes...I made it & thought afterwards "I should have put 3 wicks", so thank you for seeing that. Silk flowers, yes again...I also found that to be true & I am making new improvments to put on the site. My site is under construction & so still making improvements. I have taken the proper actions to take off my order page & "contact me" page with any info that might lead to others that I am selling. I dont want to sell anything yet..just using family as test dumbies...lol (my mother n law is the one that does all the coding of the site (hosting) so i have to get with her on that...) Gel...Someone told me acouple days ago to ask you about Gel's..I just learned about a week ago about the Gel SAFE FO's...I do know some I have from Cajun's Candle Factory was Gel safe, but not paying attention to what ones..so next time I will..Thanks for bringing this to my attention... Angelwings1...I to like to use my Gel's as forever candles...yes, the safest way to go..I was planning on labeling those candles as decoration only. But I like forever candles (phrase) better...thanks Now, to note a few words about what has happened on here the last couple days... Mirika & Michi - I do know what you are saynig & I understand where your coming from. I have been putting my horse behind the cart..I think is what you said..lol After sleeping on it & havinmg dreams that scared me like crazy...lol I am taking off my order page for now & any contact info (other then email for questions)...I dont want people to stumble over my website & expect to buy quite yet. I do want to PERFECT my candles & I know its going to take along time. With your guys help maybe i can do that.
