  1. Yes I use it and I like very much. I first had Golden wax but I found a local supplier who had C-3 so I tried and was so happy with it. And I save on shipping too.
  2. Stacien is so right, EO's are more complicated especially in blending.
  3. Amber - JBN is great, very earthy I just samples from Millcreek of Frankincense & Myrrh and Autumn sage, they smell great but haven't tested them in soy yet.
  4. Everyone, Thanks for all your posts, I appreciate the info. Have a good day!
  5. They have a lot of interestins oils and dupes, just wondering what people think of them.
  6. Since there are so many different frag companies out there, I'd thought I would take a poll and narrow it down then get some samples. As I see and look at past posts, thats what most people are doing.
  7. Doing EO blends are always a good idea and selling point. Maybe get an aromatherapy book if you don't already have one and see what all the different EO's are good for and you can come up with some blends. If you stick to the basics you can make some nice blends. To get some good quality EO's can get pricey, ie Rose or neroli, but the basics can be reasonable in price. Good luck. Learning about EO's is quite interesting. Enjoy.
  8. Oh I forgot Southern Magnolia is a beautiful scent too
  9. Your so lucky being so close to JBN. I don't have any good places to get oils where I live. Other good non scent fron JBN I use soy. Rain Seabreaze- seems like a light scent but it had a great hot throw even after 48 hours of cure time. And about honeydew melon, everytime I see a Honeydew frag candles in stores it never seems like they are strong enough. Maybe it's just the scent. Thanks for all the helpful info, can't wait to place my next order.
  10. Thanks for the info, I was looking for a good choc. Just wondering if you like any others from JBN
  11. I have noticed a lot of different companies have the frag Butt Naked, just was wondering people's thoughts were? Thanks. I meant your sorry I am the worst at typing.
  12. Thanks, It would just be an added seeling point
  13. Are most of the companies out there PETA friendly? Does anyone know. Thanks
  14. My started kit came with Golden wax and it was good but then I found of a local place that had Nature wax c3 and I tried that. To save on shipping is a huge plus so you should look at what you can locally. But I have to say I was lucky because I like the Nature wax so much more. Easier to work with less frosting and smoother tops. But this is just my experience, everyone on here has their own personal favs you just need to find what works best for you. Good luck.
  15. I agree with smart tart. You can do it. I did. I have perfected my candle. But just keep it simple one size jar one wax a few fragrances. I got my starter kit from Just By Nature. Everything I needed for a good start. I use soy and that is what I like but good luck with your venture. Don't let some of these people on here scare you away. Have fun with it. It really isn't that hard especially if your starting off as a hobby. Just remember to test before you give away.
  16. My closest friends and family get my special friend discount which is wholesale and just my friends would geta 30% discount. I just believe with a little savings they feel special and will probably buy more from you and give away as gifts. It you charge retail then they can just go out and buy another persons candle. As long as you get back what the candle costs and at least double that then whats the harm in a litlle goodness. Remember good karma.
  17. i think Just By Nature has a skin safe pumpkin spice
  18. I have JBN pumkin spice and it throws well in my c-3. I also got a sample of BCN pumkin pie and mixed it with candlesource the great pumpkin and that threw well for me too. Good luck with it.
  19. hey does any one know any vendors that sell empty liquor or vine type bottles that I can put bath gel in.
  20. I think I got my answers went to the archive area. Thanks but if anyone wants to chime in I appreciate any feedback.
  21. Is is thick or at least moisturizing enough?
  22. Pathouli is a hard one, I personally don't care for it but my mother loves it. I would try a blending it to soften it. Maybe amber and a bit of vanilla with hint of patchouli. There is definately people out there like like. But either you do or you absolutely don't. Good luck with it.
  23. Has anyone tried Millcreek Soy lotion base. Wondering people's thoug
