  1. I did a search on istockphoto.com....you might find some using different things, I used old mercantile since just mercantile gave me a lot of ships, but I see trading post as one of the key words in a pic on this page....but it's a start.. http://www.istockphoto.com/file_search.php?action=file&text=+old+mercantile&filetypeID=
  2. I agree, when I pour that my kids come in thinking I have made a cake, I think they are disappointed when I say nope, it's candles sorry lol.
  3. from the craftlobby site http://www.craftlobby.com/potpourri.html I had to go look because I didnt know either lol
  4. Ah ok, that sounds like a pretty good way of doing them then. I didnt mind pouring the scalloped edged melts before I used clamshells, it was the taking them out that got me. I might look into using the foils to make single melts in different scents for baskets and such. Thanks for the answer
  5. Those are really pretty! Makes me want spring to hurry up now lol
  6. I have a question about the use of the liners....when you pour them into these foil liners, do you use a muffin pan to keep the sides straight, or do you pour them in the liners standing alone? I dont know how thick or sturdy they are, that's why I'm asking They do look nice packaged that way.
  7. You sure can, that's exactly what I use anymore for mine, and I use 415
  8. Wow Dani, you got an AWESOME deal! You'll love it
  9. I use istockphoto.com for mine, they have some awesome images and a LOT of them as well.
  10. I thought I had seen it before as well, and I had never been to the geluminations (is that right?) website. Makes sense now lol
  11. I use 415 but I use the clamshells. I did use the metal scalloped edged molds prior to the clamshells and they were a bit soft, but usually came out ok. As for the roughness in the containers on the tops, a little heat on the top will make them a lot more smooth, at least for me it has.
  12. Sorry you guys have had problems with Paypal, I'm one of the lucky ones who havent had problems. I do have the business account where a customer doesnt have to sign up for paypal to use it, simply because I know there are those who refuse to use paypal because of past problems. I use Mals and they make it easy to blend the cart and use paypal, but since they also do it for google checkout, I have added them as an alternate way to pay as well.
  13. Yes, that's how you do it. I watched the videos on the website to kind of get the feel of how to enter stuff in, it was very helpful and was easy to follow along with.
  14. Hope this works, sometimes my links dont come out right lol http://www.candletech.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13 This should be the main co-op section, then just look for the First and Main co-op thread.
  15. There is a First and Main co-op going on right now, right about a week left I believe, there are a lot of v-day things there and some people are needing help to finish off cases that are v-day related, might check that out.
  16. I'm not really sure about the designs, but Yank** has the copyright on the word "tart"
  17. I watched the tutorial videos and those are amazing and very helpful. I'm still looking around it but the way it's going, I'm sure I'm going to be purchasing it, I really like it so far.
  18. You could always use the unique ones as part of a themed basket too, especially hearts at Valentines day, or some romantic scents for anytime. Being a military wife, I use that to my advantage in the way that I can make sets or baskets for not just anniversary or valentines but for deployment homecomings and things like that. I actually got the idea from when my friend and I rented a room for another friend of ours who's husband was coming home from Iraq and we left all kinds of candles, drinks, snack foods etc for them to enjoy their weekend in the hotel with (along with free babysitting lol). Teddy bears would be cute for maybe baby shower favors. You could do them in pink or blue or yellow, ack I'm rambling but you get the idea lol
  19. I never thought to look at those, but those would make good melts. A good enough excuse to drive 45 minutes to my favorite store in the world lol. We have a few other cooking stores close, but I love BB&B and look for any reason to have to go
  20. I have one of those, but didnt use it because of the size of the needle. I'm sure they would work for a lot of the animals, but I have a few that I thought would leave a hole if I used the meat one, that's why I went for the ones at the feed store.
  21. Good luck with your search, hope you get one or 6 hehehehe. Sorry Santa missed your shrink wrap, maybe the birthday bear will bring it?
  22. Yeah I tried using a rubber mold once, not realizing soy and rubber, for me anyway, didn't work well together. Now I use candy molds or metal ones, they work so much easier lol
  23. The look identical to me, the size I got anyway, as those used for insulin. If you can get your hands on a dollar tree critter or one about to go to teddy bear heaven, you can practice on that one, that's what I did.
