  1. I have a side question about their labels, do they come on a sheet that you can print your own things, or do you need to put info you want on them then they print them? Thanks for any info, that seems like a great price and they have an oval size I am interested in.
  2. I bought a 40 lb bag at a feed store for less than 20 dollars. I love making sachets with them, very easy on the budget for sure.
  3. Very nice!! Very easy to navigate which is always a plus when I visit a sight. Love it!
  4. I found the slotted metal big spoons to use to stir with at the Dollar Tree as well as a cheap wisk. I just zap them with the heat gun when finished.
  5. I too squeeze the excess wax off the dipped animals and take a fork and fluff them up as well. I like them to look as close to non dipped as possible while still being dipped and they sell very well for me. Well I should say they sell well around the holidays or special occasions when people buy them as gifts. I have only played around with TP once and it wasn't cute at all lol. I do like the one in the thread of the pic posted, that's amazing!!
  6. I like Scented's idea...leaves it open for you to sell anything you like.
  7. Beautiful website!! I love the pics, easy to navigate and I didn't miss the cart button this time. Well done!
  8. My daughter would LOVE that candle, she loves that color combo. I can already see I will be busy making things that will match her decor when she gets her place lol
  9. Dang I hope the one in Washington doesn't close either, it saves me a lot of time and money being able to get supplies locally
  10. I've used Peaks version in both soy and 4630 with results, in my opinion, that are very close to the CB. I have only bought Peaks so I can't speak for any others, but I keep going back to the same supplier for that one because it's so popular with people who buy it from me.
  11. Well I was going to order some to start testing but no way am I going to order that much at once. Seems silly to not have an option to pay for shipping if you dont meet the minumum requirements. What a shame...
  12. Ditto about looking good enough to eat, they look YUMMY!! Nice job!
  13. I went back and read the thread, and apologize in advance if I missed an answer but... Could one use say some of the play sand they sell at Lowes/Home Depot, use FO and dye, and just have it sitting in a bowl and it be used as a room freshener? Just curious if anyone has done this opposed to using it with wicks for burning.
  14. I made up a few candles as a gift and used the square libby jar from dollar tree and what I did was use card stock, layed the jar upside down and traced around the jar. Then I came in just a bit when I cut it out and it fit down in the jar perfectly. I used a regular hole punch to make room for the wicks to come through. I then put the whole thing in a cello bag with rafia ribbon to tie it off. I wish I had a picture of the finished product but I hope it still makes a bit of sense.
  15. I use the flip tops as well, they work great and I rarely have messes anymore
  16. I have no advice about the label not going on the lib, but wanted to tell you I think your labels look great on the lid and it's a shame they won't go with those.
  17. When I did shallow tins I always used a round label on the lid because I could never get anything on the side to look right.
  18. Now that is just cute! Never seen the cinch in the middle, I really like that. Great job!
  19. I like it! Love the pics on the page as well, would draw me in for sure
  20. I have only used the palm wax from Swans, which is very local to me here in Washington. I do love the fact that I can just go in to the store and get what I need and put it in the car and go. I can also just call ahead and they have it ready for me to pick up and will even stay open a bit later, at least here, if you are running late and say you are on your way. I have recently started buying oils and testing them and so far so good on all I've tried with that as well.
  21. I put the website address on the label. I have done the folding hangtags and had put the burning instructions/tips on the inside, but later went the the simple non folding hangtag. I think for everyone it's just a personal preference and I've seen the folding kind and the half tags both and seen both done very well where if I were shopping for a candle, would have looked at the tag.
  22. When I do hang tags, I use a business card and cut it in half, so I only put the basic things on the front and sometimes burning instructions on the back.
  23. You might be able to do with with crushed corn cob, it holds fragrance very well. Just a thought until someone comes along that might know about the litter. Very cute idea!
