  1. I believe that is what I saw at the craft show! Thanks!
  2. Several vendors at the craft fair last weekend had hand-held wireless terminals, but I couldn't get close enough to see any identifying info on the terminals. I've been wondering about that, too.
  3. I may have to just scout it out this weekend. I've been to shows at this place in Colo Spgs and it is really well lighted, but of course I've never been a vendor. Thanks for the info!
  4. Apparently this is an annual affair held in Colorado Springs and Denver, Colorado; Portland and Eugene, Oregon; and in Ridgefield, Washington. Has anyone ever sold in one of these places or heard of Showcase Productions? Here's the URL: http://www.hfgf.com/index.html I notice in the terms that is says "Power is not included in booth fee." Would that mean that they provide no electricity at all or that they charge extra for extending electrical plugs to the booth?
  5. Country Girls Make Scents Country Girl Concepts Country Girl Ambiance Country Girl Inspirations
  6. I like Country Girl Creations best! Good luck. Also do a domain search for a website by this name and go to the trademark site to search for that name. It may make a difference when you're pulling in the big bucks! It's trademark, right? I always get trademark and copyright mixed up. BTW, DD could certainly have a Country Kids Collection under your umbrella. Sounds good.
  7. I've read this about five times and I'm still chuckling. Angi, you're good!
  8. Unless I read your post wrong, Late Night, apostrophe s doesn't signify more than one. Apostrophe s indicates ownership. Hometown Girls would signify more than one person. Hometown Girls' Creations would indicate more than one owner. I like Mom & Me. But what will happen when she's a teenager and no longer interested?
  9. LOL! Well, get the high school crowd selling your sexotic candles and you'll have it made.
  10. Okay, Violet, I can't stand it anymore. When I see your ID I immediately think Violent Sex ...otic candles. What? Then my mind reads it right. Hope your web site doesn't say the same thing! oops, sorry....LOL
  11. Nat, I've been trying to get on your website every day since you posted the link and I still can't get on it. I guess I'll have to try from hubby's computer and see if that works.
  12. I get this error: Server not found Firefox can't find the server at www.scentifique.co.uk. * Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. *************** I tried to load it in IE but it wouldn't even come up with an error. Anyone with Firefox have any ideas?
  13. itsmejeffd explained it perfectly. Even if you give things to the parents, what is going to stop every budding entrepreneur on the block from also doing it? Where is the parent going to put everything, because I can assure you they won't be bringing a goody bag for themselves. If you want to do it, go ahead. That's just my 2 cents' worth. Keep it for the kids.
  14. Could a hurricane shell be poured into his bamboo and then a tealight put in for the flame?
  15. I learned how to take pictures with my digital camera when my daughter was in labor. She taught me between contractions!
  16. Isn't it Dun & Bradstreet? Made me think of Kirsten Dunst. If that is not a typo, I'd be very wary. Sounds like a scam to me.
  17. Here's a picture of one. They are also called evaporatoive coolers. You keep the sides wet where the pads are and it cools the air going into the house. You can have downdraft, sidedraft, or window units, and I think they actually make freestanding units now. They don't work very well when the humidity is high, but they are great for places like Colorado and West Texas. When I was growing up, one of my jobs was keeping the pads wet, but now they have a water line system that distributes the water to the pads. More than you wanted to know, eh?
  18. Do you sell your Mia Bella candles in your shop? They aren't handmade, are they? I went to a craft fair last weekend and the candle selection sucked. One vendor had three tables and just had random candles set out on the tables, no displays or any kind of marketing materials, nothing to draw you into the booth. Another had Mia Bella candles. And another had the hexagon jars. Didn't even stop in there. Oh, and a guy was selling handmade hand creams, but his packaging was dirty. White bottle with dirty white labels which looked like they had definitely seen better days. Ewww.
  19. SilvermOOn, the blisters look like you put the universe in the candle. They look cool!
  20. I guess so, they can't run down every redneck wearing those T-shirts and yank them off their backs. Paris Hilton - blech. She's a snotty-nosed brat.
  21. For the Lotions and Potions website, a picture of their storefront from their website says they have been in business since 1969: http://www.lotionspotions.com Wouldn't the "xxx, and xxx, and xxx, oh my" phrase already have been trademarked by whoever made The Wizard of Oz - and probably Ted Turner has the rights now? I couldn't find the Butters, Bubbles, and Bombs Oh My website when I searched Google.
