Very nice setup.. I would love to see a closer picture of you snowman stars:cheesy2:

Anyone notice rates are going up? I just shipped out an order and the shipping is about $14.00 more than what it was a month ago.

I was looking into buying some of this from chem store to try out.. did they say it was a mistake with just one batch? I hate wasting money but its a product I would love to try.
They did not say if it was one batch or not. I haven't heard any complaints from the second batch I got.

I just finished a string of 7 two day shows every weekend...
Yesterday my hubby did a one day show, while I was off doing another...
finally finished for the season!!!!
Wow, that's cool that your husband will go do shows on his own.
I hope everyone did well at all their shows.

I believe a ecommerce site is one that you can use a shopping cart with. But I am not sure what you mean by a regular website.
-
You can check in people signatures and under their usernames. I have both my sites listed in my signature.

I've not found the pomace from CF to have any sort of green tint. A bit of a tan hue to it, but not green
I have but this was a few years ago. So I use their refined A now and it work beautiful for me. I also buy Olive oil from the grocery store if I have to.

We did 5 this year and have one more to go if I get the blessed paperwork. Looking into doing some more next year:)

I don't know if this will work - I don't use clear labels. But try spraying the surface with a soap and water mixture like you would use to place decals. It allows you to slide the label in place and work out the bubbles. Just a thought.
I tried that also and it didn't work for me:(
-
I know exactly what you mean lorrie. I'm having the same problem with the matte clear. I think it is the label. I don't like it...and heat gunning it doesn't help. I even cleaned with alcohol first before applying. Still looks like shit. I don't want white either.
I have had some good luck with applying labels while candles are still warm. Try that. I am currently looking for a different label that will work better.

I do that now. maybe I will try different colors this year.I used to use either felt or velvet draped on top of boxes to make table top risers. I just used the same boxes I brought my products in. It was cheap and cut down on the amount of stuff I had to haul in and out. Actually looks nicer than you'd think, too. It's amazing how creative I can get, when the rent's due.

I have one of those also. Now I am looking for something I can take to craft shows.

If they repackage their wax and relabel with their name, then a supplier will not tell who the manufacuter is.. The supplier wants you to buy their product from them and not get it else where.....
Exactly. Suppliers want you to buy from them.
Just as I am sure you wouldn't tell someone where you buy all your suppliers from and tell them how to make a candle. Suppliers do research also and that cost us a lot of money. That is why they won't tell you who their manufacturer is.

What I would do is take all the store bought soaps out of the shower and bath room and put one of yours in there. Once he jumps in the shower he will have no choice but to use yours.

. Worst is when the wax does the "cauliflowering" morph where the wax seems to grow and cover the wick and top with "brainy" lookin' stuff. Some folks think fungus is growing on those candles,
I have never seen a soy candle do that.. Learned something new today.

Don't feel bad I have been trying to figure out these things for years!!

I just wanted to update that I sent my sample to this account and I landed not one but two accounts!!
:tiptoe::tiptoe:
So sometimes it does pay off to offer a free sample to potential wholesale customers.
-
Ditto what Stella said.
-
Who is the supplier? i have never heard of that soy brand before. Pure soy does come in different forms. I have seen in flakes and pastilles.
-
Yes.. But go download the free version I gave you the link to..
It will let you enter 20 people in and test it.. See if that is all you need.
Then you can upgrade right online to simple start (If you don't need to track your inventory ) and it will transfer your 20 customer info over if you want..
HTH
Thank you!!!
-
Lorrie,
If you need it for just books, then simple start is perfect..
Don't open the one you bought.. Return it if the Simple start works for you..
Download the free trial and play with it..
You can always upgrade later if you need more applications.

ETS: I see now they are selling the simple start for $99.95 for tracking 10,000 customers.. The link above is like a starter package for 20 customers.
They were offering simple start totally free before.. Guess they lost money on it since not as many people upgraded as they thought..
Anyway.. At least you can try it out and see if it works for you.. Might save you some $$ if you don't have to get the pro version..
Ok another question... Since I am only going to use it for books and I have more than 20 customer I should use the simple start right?
-
I won't be using it to email invoices or anything like that. So would it still work if all I am using it for is just basically my books? I have been doing them by hand for years and I just thought that this would be easier.
For those who stuck out the year ...
