  1. This is what I have been up to. My mom decided that I need another hobby.. Yeah I need that like I need a hole in my head.

We believe this is a Queen sized quilt. I don't have the measurements because it's at my mom's. She just took it off the long arm machine.

  2. You have deodorized cocoa right? They smell of the prime may come through. Also like I said try adding a little bit of beeswax. I have found that soy wax with its lower melt point leaves my skin feeling greasey.

IPM can also take some of the greasiness away.

  3. Scented I agree with everyone who said to add Kokum or cocoa butter to it. Maybe split the shea 50/50 with cocoa butter.

And soy wax has a lower melt point than beeswax so maybe try some beeswax instead if you are looking to make it harder.

  4. I would think that they would be ok because they will not freeze. I know a couple of years ago someone had left candles in their car and they froze the wax swelled up over the wicks making them junk.

They only thing I would be concerned with is the condensation that may develop on them from coming in out of the cold.

  5. Thanks everyone. Her party was actually Saturday afternoon at the gym. She wasn't as thrilled about it as all the moms were. I was hoping all the little girls liked it and would want one of their own. That's a 4 yr. old for ya though, she liked the barbies, my little ponies, and zhu zhu pets much better!

I had sooo much fun making it that I can't wait to get more cut out and sewn. My head is realing with ideas for the fabrics I have on hand. Can't wait to get to Joann fabrics and michaels on Wed. when I'm off to get trims and embelishments.

The letters on the pockets are iron on. I don't have an embroidery sewing machine. I do have a Brother application station that I bought many moons ago that will embroider letters and other pre-programmed things but I've never even taken it out of the box to try it. I guess now would be a good time!

She may have loved the Barbies, little ponies and zhu zhu pets better but she can use your gift to carry all those things.

    It is very cute!

  6. Scent Description from my on site:

Cinnamon Bayberry ~ A warm, rich and sweet fragrance. The opening notes capture the essence of freshly ripened fruity notes of apple, peach and cherry almond. The warm heart blends jasmine with cinnamon, clove, juniper and bay. The background is sweetened with light vanilla, patchouli and fir balsam accents.

but when I smell it is more of a 50/50 bay berryish - cinnamon smelling type fragrance. HTH
