  1. I love: Best Friends 7-up Pound Cake Christmas Splendor Ms. Claus Cookies - smells very similar to Wendy's VBN God's Love Hillbilly Homebrew Heaven Beach Baby Downy Clean Breeze Pumpkin Crunch Cake All work great in C3
  2. I'm not sure about Oatmeal Raisin Cookie but Snickerdoodle from SS is the best. Buttery and yummy! TCS is in close running.
  3. I know Greenleaf has different sampler sizes also. But, I agree. 1ozers are not enough. They should all start at 2ozs. at least. MizBizzy, you won't be disappointed in Kim's oils! They are awesome!
  4. I use C3 also with great success. I heat to about 170 degrees but I let it cool to about 150 then pour in FO and stir stir stir. I then let it cool to about 140 and pour. I use FO's from all over and most of them work well especially those that are tested in soy like from KY, FOH and JBN. Peaks oils are great. I love CCocoon and Greenleaf. I don't know where you get your oils from but some just don't work in C-3. I do find the longer the cure time the better the throw. Now, Snowtop's oils will blow you out of the house after 48 hours. Give their oils a try. You definitely won't be disappointed.
  5. By the description, it sounds like Vanilla Bliss from Snowtop with the maple notes. I haven't smelled Daystar's but I was checking it out also because I like vanillas. I'm wondering the same thing though.
  6. FOH has the AXE Phoenix available in her pre-buy. Great price too! I've never smelled any of the AXE scents but I got this one too try. Sounded good and would like to make some stuff for DH.
  7. I can tell you Old Mill has an awesome OM&H. I got a good Lavender Vanilla from KY and they test in soy. I'm not sure about the Lily of the Valley. Do a search and I'm sure you'll come up with some stuff.
  8. GL has some great oils. Here are my favs: Antahala Vanilla Indonesian Teak Strawberry Musk - one of the best I've found Strawberries n Cream Violet Musk - I haven't poured it yet but it reminds me of those Violets candies Starla Sarsen Maduro Grapefruit Watermelon - strong and fruity! Brenda has great oils and good customer service.
  9. You're right. I'm just saying no! I already have like 10 different suppliers. Trying to cut them down though! Too many good oils from too many suppliers!
  10. Christina, the Sweet Peas & Cream from OFS is great. I was using Peaks until I found this one! I love it!
  11. Oh, thanks Carol, I didn't see the Farmhouse one. You're gonna get me in trouble! You just gotta love these suppliers!
  12. Yes, I couldn't pick one. They both have awesome oils. But, I love FOH's pre-buys. Great prices and oils!
  13. I used to get my wax from them. My brother lives in Dallas, so my parents would go visit and pick my wax up on the way home. They were OOS a couple of times so I had to switch over to JBN which is also in the Dallas area. Never tried their oils though.
  14. I'm with Candlebuddy on the Sultry Angel. One of my top 3 best sellers. Actually, my favorite scent! Tuscan Lace from Flickers is very similar. BCN has an Angel Wings. I think it's BCN. It could be BCS.
  15. Most of the time, I use my C-3 in my clamshells. I just got some KY tart wax and I'm experimenting with that right now. All of my customers love my tarts and they are done in C-3, so why am I messing with a good thing. I don't know! Just thought I would see if they could be stronger.
  16. Congratulations. It's fun isn't it? Candlebuddy, I use Peak's also and it throws good in C-3. I'm not too big on coffee scents but this one is pretty good! Missy
  17. I don't pour C-3 hot. I find when I do, I always get sinkholes like you stated but I'm not sure about any additives. I don't use them. I always pour at about 140 degrees and usually never have a problem. I wait until the wax starts to get a little cloudy, not slushy and then pour very slowly. Try this and see how it works for you.
  18. The Tahitian Vanilla Spice is a great oil! I haven't had seepage on this one but I have had it before and I found it was because I used to much FO. You measured so that couldn't have been it. Melt that baby down. It couldn't hurt. Did you wipe it off and it's still seeping? Just to play it safe though, you had better remelt. I love Kim's oils! They are wonderful and I find the longer I let them cure the stronger they are. Missy
  19. Katie, can you compare this vanilla to any other vanilla you've tried? I'm a succer for vanillas and I was wondering what this one smelled like. From the description it kind of sounded like Vanilla Bliss from Snowtop. Missy
  20. I love Bobbi Brown's beach type from WSP. It smells just like a day at the beach. It's not in any way coconuty. It smells like sand and suntan lotion mixed together. I light this one in the summer and daydream I'm laying on the beach! Coco Cabana from NG or Hey Hey Cute Cabana Boy from Daystar are great tropical scents also. They smell very similar to me but I think Daystar's is a slight bit better!
  21. Candlebuddy, I made it yesterday and I'll keep you posted on how it burns. It smells great though. I'm gonna experiment a little bit today with Peak's orange and some vanillas I have. Thanks again for the recommendation! Missy
  22. Thanks Kim. Yes, I went to your website and found the pre-buy. I hope I didn't jump the gun but I'm always checking out your website to see what's going on. I love love love your oils! I'm sure I'll be in on this pre-buy too! lol Missy
  23. I'm gonna have to try that one. I have both of those oils. I'll give it a shot today. Thanks Candlebuddy! Missy
  24. Yesterday, I attempted a chunk candle with Ile Flottante green chunks and Got Milk poured over it. Didn't look too great because the soy chunks were too soft but it smelled awesome! I thought the Got Milk would smell just like B&BW White Cream candle but it smells like another vanilla to me. It's good just not what I was hoping for. I love that White Cream candle!
