  1. A friend of mine has this mold and loves it. She did say that the dividers are prone to warp especially if you put the mold in the oven and they can be difficult to get out. She said she uses pliers to grab hold of them to pull them out.

And be very careful when you use pliers as the dividers break very easily...ask me how I know this? LOL Even well seasoned they stick. Besides being way to small of bars...mine were always stuck.

  2. Thanks! The colors brightened up with the gel process. I am going to dump it out of the mold this morning and cut it into logs. I did an in the pot swirl and then globbed the remaining colored base all over the top and swirled it around. Sweet Violet & Sassafras is from the Scent Works and smells awesome!

  3. Great looking mold AND soap! I'm seriously considering getting one of these molds.

They seriously are NICE molds! I stuck this in the oven...warmed the oven up and put the mold in there and shut the oven off and it gelled beautifully. Which also always brightens the colors right up too. I can't wait to dump it out tomorrow and cut it into logs! This no messing with liners of any kind (but silicone) is right up my alley!

  4. I have several of TOGS molds...my triple log being my favorite. Mine took about 2 weeks to get. I did just order 2 custom molds from Silvermoon last Friday and got a notice last night they will ship this Friday. AWESOME service and they keep you up to date. I can't wait to get these new molds....silicone like Upland. I decided to go that route as with the wooden TOG molds you really have to be at thicker trace to pour or they will leak...and leaking irritates me...LOL I also had to line them with mylar over the funky foam with my tallow soaps as for some reason the funky foam makes the tallow soaps really rough. Anyway...I don't want my molds to control when I can pour and I want nice smooth sides. The 2 I custom ordered will split into 4 logs each with my FCS log slitter and each entire slab will cut down into 68 bars.
