Here is the info i got back from the soap guild in an email this morning.......
We are looking at insurance plans, but to say a deal is being put together is not true. Any details on insurance will be posted at our web site, www.soapguild.org. Thanks,
Jim Ranieri

Bitter Creek South sells the paint cans but I am not sure what sizes....they have 2 different sizes. I have never used them so can't answer if they are good sellers. Have looked at them and thought about ordering a few. HTH!

For all your kind compliments! It is scented Oatmeal, Milk & Honey and I used a cardboard box for the mold. I put saran wrap over the top of the box but not directly on the soap and it appears to have a little ash on it. I did insulate it with 3 towels and also had it sitting on a towel to insulate the bottom. Since I am still learning I am not sure what you mean by "What level?" It is a soy soap........has canola, olive, ez soy wax flakes, coconut and shea in it. It smells delish. I can't wait for it to cure so I can try it out. And I had so much fun I am addicted and can't wait to try another batch! Unfortunately I have this thing called a JOB and it is forever getting in the way of my plans...LOL

Millcreeks lotion base is very very good. I use that and their body spray and shower gel/liq soap base.

I made my very first CP soap this afternoon! It is sitting in it's box all heated up and I have peaked twice and it looks just perfect to me! Did the gel thingie all the way to the edges and everything! It was so much fun and now I am wondering why I stressed so much trying this. I did a soy soap........has canola, coconut, olive, ez soy wax (melted) and shea butter in it. I added Oatmeal, Milk & Honey fragrance and a smidgen of Gold & Choco brown coloring. I can not wait till I can take it out of the box and cut it into bars! Next time I am going to try swirls....I was way to nervous to this time! LOL Anyway will post pics of my new "addiction" when I get it sliced!

I bought mine at Hardware Hank...it is Rooto Brand ....crystals of household 100% lye and is a 16oz container for $3.25. We have a Lowes and I will have to check that out. I called around and had a hard time finding it locally......didn't think of Lowes tho. And actually I had hubby pick it up while he was out running errands. They had 2 on the shelf and several cases in the back they told him. They were real helpful and he obviously didn't look like a meth head as they didn't give him any strange looks....LOL. I told him if they look at you strange just keep saying ......Well my wife is making soap and needs lye for the recipe....LOL

Homespun sugar and Cranberry Crumble are 2 of my best sellers! The others that are great and haven't been mentioned are:
Apple Butter
Pumpkin Cheesecake
Dogwood
Rice Flower & Shea
I know I have more of theirs but need to go downstairs and check which ones.

I have been using propay for about 6 months now with no problems. I can also run them through my PayPal merchant account. But use ProPay for most of them.

Since I just finally stumbled onto this site 2 days ago I am just now sending emails and doing the survey. What an awesome price......this would be great if all works out. Can't wait to get more info on all this and check out the coverage!

For those of you who have tried the perfect blend.....which wicks did you use with it? I am using 16 oz mason pints. I am just getting ready to start testing it and can't decide what wicks to test with. TIA!
