pat catans is a craft store like Joann or Michaels..but better..I think there prices are cheaper and if you have a tax Id # you get a card..when they scan your card..no tax is charged and you get 50% off all white ticket items. I get my votive holders there that I fill with container wax for .20 each:D They are mostly in Ohio..and a partner store with Darice going to get a case of my votives small cello bags for soap/milk bath/salts etc handle bags for customer orders(yippy no shipping) and some ribbon for my pencil trees in pink black and white. I love that store..I could spend my whole paycheck there..but hubby wont let me..darn him.

Ok..think I am going to have to upgrade to virtual terminal in my paypal account..I think that might be the way to go..now I have to get the imprinter and slider..and forms.. Where do I get those..I always got them free when I used Discover..but I am NOT going that route again ..maybe I should put my terminal in the classified..it is a $300 one ..but I don't need it..I like the online versions better.

I ordered ALL my supplies except my scents from peaks(waiting on fruit slices) last night at 11pm..stayed up late just to order..all my bases..jars..bottle..wax..more jars..fall/winter FO's..wicks.. etc etc..Got orders coming from Keystone, WSP, MMS and hopefully in a day or two I can order my Peaks stuff.. I am going to be a candle and Bath & Body makin fool!..I have not been this excited since I ordered my first bottle of lotion base back in 2003:D I am even going to pat catans afterwork with the lady I carpool with to get supplies there.. It feels like Christmas! Where is the snow? :D

I love how creamy it smells..makes ya want to dip in your fingers and eat it..I have enough spicy scents in my line so this is better for me to carry than a spicy pumpkin scent...heck you could probably add cinnamon to it and make it pumpkin pie

pumpkin fudge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used plain 415 and it threw GREAT in it..I now use a soy blend and tested it quite a while back but did not really have my biz up as much last fall...so I did not restock it..this year it will be on my list for tomorrows order for sure.

..ok so I set up my booth..it is a bit empty but I have stuff on the way that I can fill in next weekend.. I made candles pretty much all day cukes & melons baby kisses fresh roses pink shuga gingerbread cinnamon ...this is in addtion to the 5-6 batches I made over the last few days. I am now tired of pouring candles..want to dip in the B&B..lol I am also out of jars so I don't have a choice..all I have are 16oz ones.. I have a HUGE question...how in the heck am I going to take cc's at this place? my cell phone has (0) ZERO coverage in there. ..I was going to try to do the phone thing and get a plate and slide machine..but now I guess I am back to cash and possible checks...umm not sure on that one yet. The only other option is offering the order/payonline/pick up at booth. :undecided any ideas..I don't believe I can run a phone line..going to have to talk to some other vendors and see what they do.. I was setting up to day..and they have a coffee shop in there..and I could smell him grinding the beans up and making cofee all morning. YUM!!!!!!!

good idea..ordering more supplies tomorrow and I am going to make up some sugar scrub samples..and smaller guest size soap samples..and I have a CRAP load of misc...filled votives..scents I am not going to carry anymore but are perfectly great scents.. just to many on my list..I have a whole shelf of them at my booth. I took some before pics today..set up my booth and my batteries died..everytime I went to click a pic after it focused..it shut off..darn it:mad: I have more to add to my booth on Sat..I will take pics then..it is not full or decorated well yet though..I still have supplies on there way so it looks a bit empty.:undecided

..ok..had mixed feelings about this one OOB..but now that it is in wax.. OMG! I love it..hubby hated it..he made a horrible face and turned away..guess I should not burn that one when he is home. I made it a redish brown color..came out nice..not that I don't already have enough red in my line. :rolleyes2

You know I stared with a crap load of scents for b&b...and tried to make each lable different..and then the LIGHT BULB went off in my head that time is money..and I have found there are 7 scents that sell for me well..ok 6 one is a new one that I blended myself..(thanks to Scented's idea)...and that is what I am carrying..the lables are all the same for each scent except for the NAME of the actual Scent..I use color to coordinate it with the products. It is alot of work making lables and if you don't watch yourself you can spend wayyyyyy more time than necessary working on them. I like pink to..lol..my colors are pink/black/white/with some gray.... ...and bath & body has way more than 5-10 scents..I can't keep up with them anymore ..and frankly don't want to.. I kinda like making my own scent names up and my own combinations of fragrance..going to do more of that in the future. as far as a drop down menu with 50...are they all b&b safe? ..do you really want to have to make that many? and carry that many in stock scents? things to ponder.

Good ideas..I will be wearing tennis shoes for sure..and my black logo t-shirt.. not planning on sitting much..I am not one to sit for a long time..even at my job in my cubical..I have to get up alot and go to the copier/scanner..THANK GOD! I like the new interesting display idea..and that is one of my favorite things to do..sooo I will be messing with stuff tomorrow to set that up..I could do that all day and not even eat..lol. I am still going for my contemporary french look so hopefully I can pull that off in my little space. I got a crap load of pretty sliky black fabric the other day to hang as curtains on my space for when I am not there to protect stuff..plus my booth is all white peg board.. going to paint my shelves black tonight ..hope they dry by tomorrow...if not I will take them saturday....I am a little light on the pink though..:undecided and that is the main color of my logo/branding.. I was trying to be frugal on my space so I have mostly cherry finished stuff in my space..bookcase/dressing table..and then a wallyworld table with silky black fabric for my check out counter ..I have a black free standing grid wall fixture with shelves on it..and two small bakers racks..goning to use some fabric and some other things for decorations..gonna pull out some of the holiday stuff and get busy on my pencil trees..gotta find some pink/silver/white ornaments and ribbon for that. Darn I can't wait till Christmas season. Eventually I will go into a bigger space once we see how this stuff does here..If I feel the need to expand then when a space opens in a good spot I will move. I went back just now and checked the archives..and glad I did .... I almost forgot: double stick tape sheet for email list lighter swiffer garbage can camera mints**good idea...he he Oh..and I just found out they have a Dip n Dots..or something like it.. in there..guess I know what I am eating for lunch.

oohh..thanks..something to read and I forgot to go get the popcicle sticks for testers. They have a customer service desk where I can get extra change..for those who buy something for $1 and have a $50 .....and it is too spots away from my booth BUT..I think I will do $100 anyway..good point..If I get busy I won't have time to get change.

..peaks site says they are out of stock on Fruit Slices..and my backup supplier does not carry it anymore.. WHERE? can I get a comparable FO? Need it ASAP:confused:
