  1. venting aside ... finally got to the bottom of this. Guess if I'd read ALL my mail I'd learn what's going on!!
  2. Anyone have these charges appear on their bank accounts? I've noticed for the last 3 months that there has been a $9.95 charge each month to this company. Didn't think anything of it at first because I keep enough in this account to purchase supplies and I thought it was supplies I had ordered. Well now my credit union informs me this is a charge from I Payment for a payment to K&G Candles Soaps and Salts ... MY BUSINESS!!! They can't tell me anything more than this and I have to now file a dispute form and pay $25 to guarantee charges like this will be stopped for the next 6 months. Crazy!!! I have a feeling this is from using PayPal ... I was afraid this would happen to me one day!!
  3. Went into Wallyworld today and they had Christmas stuff out ... they have really cute mugs this year! Some are as high as $2.50 each BUT they also have some cute ones for 70 cents each!! Don't really like shopping there anymore but these will make great Christmas gifts to offer. Now gas up the car with that $3.00/gallon gas and head on out and get a great deal!!
  4. Thank you. Already have. Would not sell otherwise.
  5. very nice looking ... sparklies and all!
  6. Thanks for the comments! I do love making and selling these. Ginger - I'll send the step-by-step instructions I used when I started (if I can find them - if not, I'll write them up). Just PM me with an email addy. It's not difficult at all. The best thing about these are there's no wick testing, skin rashes from irritating lotion sampling or worry of bacteria growing in the finished product!! There's pretty much just one way to do these!!

Yes, Yes, and Yes Also LOVE their Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cool Water - I know their not 'holiday' scents - but still strong.
  8. ... EXCELLENT!!!!!
  9. I've been doing these for a while - mostly using clipart - but can also use photos. They can be personalized however the customer wants. The three small ones are 2x2 magnets; the Marine is a 4x4 tile and Jenny the cheerleader is a 6x6 tile; both of which sit on picture holders or can be hung with wire or ribbon. They make great gifts for teachers and kids (who love their name on anything!!) Thanks for looking.
  10. mmmmm ... looks great!
  11. yeppers ... pretty much! they have great finds (like these) every now and then.
  12. I just called Lone Star and they still haven't gotten it in - 'maybe' Thursday. I really wanted to try it in a B&B product that I was going to deliver on Friday. I was also going to order from them because I need HTP 62 wicks and it only takes 2 days to get to me ... oh well, guess I'll keep looking. Thanks for the info.
  13. I'm not getting something - you hate this kind of a show but made $386? I'd kill to have your 'klinker' right now!! We were rained out at one show (then had to come home a re-do labels) - made booth fee and that was only $50; yesterday had gorgeous weather - actually got too hot and melted some products which will have to be replaced and only made $75 ($15 booth fee)! We'd love to 'hate' a show for $386 income!!
  14. Anyone make their base from Vodka and Distilled Water? Came across a recipe for this and couldn't believe my eyes. Of course now I can't find the darn thing. Just curious if anyone has tried this!
  15. Winter from Solas! Someone just asked if I made peppermint (which I have also) but since Winter is new for me I suggested they smell that one ... their answer 'ooooohhhh'!! I think Scented might have suggested this one before.
  16. Need to order a strong peach and was wondering if anyone had used their version? TIA
  17. Maryann ... as always, beautiful stuff!!
  18. How's this ... computer crashing can be such a pain! 37.5% Mango Butter 25% Sweet Almond Butter 25% Avocado Oil 12.5% Beeswax Flavor Oil Sweetener is optional I just learned how to make these and this is a simple recipe I came up with. I myself love it. It melts right into your lips. I attempted to add sweetener but that didnt turn out so well. And I also got to thinking that winter is almost here and I don't need to be licking it off my lips! LOL! If you try this let me know what you think. Kelly
  19. I thought it was strange also ... and when you go and put each company in as a website - it's 2 different companies from what I can tell.
  20. ... and you're going to call this soap 'Britney or Paris' ... ... well maybe not!!
  21. thanks ladies ... did not know that! Now off to place an order!
  22. I purchased a bottle of Pink Sugar from WSP and ‘something’ started to settle at the bottom of the jar – it did not mix in if I shook it. I was going to contact them; however, my 17-year old cat decided he’d get a burst of energy and jump on the shelf where the bottle was sitting and knock it over onto the floor so I’d have shattered glass and oil to clean up when I returned home!! At least he smelled good!:undecided Anyone else notice this 'stuff' at the bottom of their Pink Sugar purchased from WSP or other suppliers? I'd like to get more from someone but don't want the same thing happening. TIA
  23. A friend of ours that we met at our first craft show a few years ago does this. She has been a dog trainer for years and her daughter is one of the best trainers in the US. Therefore she is extremely knowledgeable about what dogs eat. I've seen her in action - she asks what type of dogs people have (if they're not with them); how old; their habits, etc. Then she suggests what treats would be the best for them. She is one of the best sales people I know - she knows her stuff ... I guess you could say she knows her dogs inside and out!! :tiptoe: To that end - IMO it's not just 'having recipes and making and baking'. You have to know dogs and what works in their systems. I wouldn't want to sell a dog treat and it make them sick because it's something they really shouldn't have been eating ... a person gets a rash 'cause they have a reaction to your lotion, you can hopefully fix that ... cause a person's pet (aka baby) to get sick and look out - there's gonna be hell to pay. Serious research and studying needs to be done if it's going to be done right. Just my
