  1. Have never ordered from KY. What else is good there?
  2. I've use the Body Shop's oils to scent the room. But, their oils are different than the FO's we buy from suppliers to make candles, soaps & b&B products. Their oils, you just add a few drops to a mini burner, that's it. With the FO's we use, you'd have to add something to the oils in the burners, or the oils would burn. You'd have to add water or some wax, etc.... I have done both. I have used the Body Shops stuff and I've also used FO's from suppliers and actually just added a little wax to the burner to make a version of instant "tarts". Bath & Body Works and White Barn candle also sell small bottles/vials or oils that can be added straight to a small sized burner with no water.
  3. Ok, someone has to ask, so let it be me: what co's premade base are you using that went bad?
  4. Did you end up ordering it? & if so, who do you like it?
  5. I agree. No problems here, either!
  6. I order bases, packaging & fragrance oils from WSP, and I don't find their shipping outrageous at all. It must be a state-to-state thing, no? I also find, that with them, whatever shipping amount shows up in the checkout cart, is what shipping turns out to be. With other suppliers, when I get the finalized bill, & shipping charges are more than the cart showed. But what is funny to me is, many people say that one of the reasons they like WSP is the quick shipping & for me, I have to wait a week! I guess it is a good thing that there are so many great suppliers out there, so that there are places out there to make each of us happy!
  7. same for me.........plastic baggies, squish, squish, squish, cut the corner & squeeze into container/jar/bottle.
  8. That & also: how do you get the FO to move up the straw w/out a squeezie top?
  9. There are many, many, many, many etailers out there, selling ready made bases. I agree with all the "pros" that pamperme listed. I'd also add: peace of mind that they are being tested properly by the supplier, confidence that the product was put together just right and that I didn't miss an ingredient, or put too much or too little of an ingredient, that I didn't somehow compromise the preservative.................another one is: the big supply houses that are selling tons of bases can afford to use alot of good ingredients that I would never be able to afford to use. I read a few threads about this very subject on a few forums. Pros & Cons, etc....and people who ONLY handmake & look down upon people who sell premade..........let me see if I can go find them & then I'll post them. Going to do it now.
  10. what department did you find it in? Small appliances, like toasters, etc?
  11. Bitter Creek North's Tutti Fruity..................and I think that NaturesGardens "starfruit & mango" smells a lot like it too. But go for BCN's. That is actually their scent description for it on their site.
  12. That's a great price! Thanks for posting it! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for digging thru to find them: well, when you have 100's of oils from like 15 different suppliers and you are testing stuff every single day, and making finished products every single day, I'd be throwing out a ton of pipettes every day! That is why I save them. Thanks again for the new pipette source!!!
  13. I do exactly what you do!! I have each one in a snack sized plastic bag, with the name labeled on the outside. I tried attaching it to the bottle, but it dripped all over the place. I think our method is the best one, but I DO know what you mean about them getting out of hand! I have one plastic bin, with over 100 pipettes in it! I hate digging through the bin to look for the one I'm looking for. Oh, I also have the company name I bought the FO from, on the label. I was considering buying small, plastic storage boxes for each supplier & then putting the pipette bags for their oils in them.
  14. I am going there today to find it. That looks like a really nice one! Thank you so much for posting the photos. Now, after seeing it, I must have it! Does it have a "tare" button by any chance? Thanks again!
  15. Oh, would you please post a photo, if possible? Thanks. I've looked at my Target, but never found any. But that was a long while ago, so I'll go & look again. Thanks
  16. Daystars Buttercream is OUT OF THIS WORLD! You'll never use another again!

  18. Has anyone ever ordered FO's from Solas? I haven't, but am always looking for something new! Any suggestions?
  19. I use their Luxury Mist and am very happy with it. No separating or clouding. I have also bought this spray from other etailers, before I started using it myself, & I've always liked the products. I did notice one that I bought from others, that clouded a bit, but I just shook well before each use. Sorry I can't help you on how much FO to use for just a 2 ounce sprayer. But I do like this spray. It is light, contains no alcohol & holds scent nicely.
  20. Cyclo & FO at 7:1 ratio.....or 6:1 ratio or Cyclo & FCO and FO at same ratio's but: the "parts" would be: 6 parts Cyclo, 1 part FCO and 1 part FO I've read many suggestions about this. Here are some "pastes" from others who have done it: Can be used to make a Spray or a Roll-On: Suggestion #1: 1/2 tsp fo to 2 oz. cyclo Suggestion #2: some people use less or more, but here is the standard recipe: 1 part fragrance oil to 6 parts cyclomethicone it depends on the size...whatever it is, break it down to 7 parts. example : for a 2 ounce total weight - 2.0 divide by 7 = approx .28 per part. so you would use .28 fo and the rest is cyclo. 2 oz dry oil spray - .28 oz fo 4 oz dry oil spray - .57 oz fo 6 oz dry oil spray- .85 oz fo 8 oz dry oil spray - 1.14 oz fo Suggestion #3: .28 oz FO=1 part..plus....28 oz Coc.orGrapseed oil= 1 part......plus........1.4 oz Cyclo(.28x5)=5 parts....with a grand total of 7 parts Suggestion#4: if adding a carri oil like grapeseed, rice bran or fractionated coconut, sub 1 part of the cyclo for the carrier oil to see if the fo will blend Hope some of these help.
  21. That is just THE COOLEST B&B product I have ever seen!
