  1. I get mine from Soapers Choice. http://www.soaperschoice.com/cgi-soaperschoice/Web_store/web_store.cgi?query_price_low_range=0&cart_id= MMS= http://www.the-sage.com/catalog/index.html
  2. Wow lard always makes a nice hard bar for me. I'd worry that your water total may have been off. I mean you have a lot of hard oils in it.
  3. Depending on the eo I use 1oz ppo too.
  4. Golly. I didn't think any place could be worse than Bitter Creek. Now I can get in to order from the 16oz bottles but not from the 8oz which are on sale. Confusing.
  5. How do you order from them? I clicked on their online catalog and got an error message. I found the list of fo's but no where to order. Am I missing something? Do you have to email your order? Well how embarrassing! This time I was able to get in to the online catalog. Sorry.
  6. The Herbarie has a great recipe! AquaEm 3% FO/EO 1% Hydrolyzed Oats Cromoist O-25 1% Distilled water 94.7% Germaben II Preservative 0.3% It's a beautiful thing!
  7. In my opinion a soap isn't going to moisturize. It is for cleansing. Granted the more it cleans the more it strips your skin. I try to use a medium amount of the high cleansing oils in my recipes. Those are commonly coconut, pko and babassu. I keep the percentage no higher than 20% and I superfat at 5%. To moisturize I use a lotion afterwards.
  8. I know you're supposed to but I don't stir either. I do try to use from the bucket so I can scoop a hole out and use some from the bottom up. I hope that makes some sense.
  9. I think it's easier to bevel after the soap has set a while.
  10. Soap Silly's Honey Nectar is an amazing thing! http://soapsillywholesalesupplies.com/
  11. I like to store my soap in plastic boxes. It seems to really help keep the scent.
