  1. Thanks IslandGirl and TeriM. It will be a best seller if I can find a good one.The ladies I work with have been hounding me to find one that smells like Suzzette's Cabin. The lady who they purchased it from stop selling the candles and they are hounding me to find one and make 'em.
  2. I just looked on Just Scents and saw that Grapefruit-Vanilla Twist is one of their bestsellers. Would someone mind sharing their opinion? Is it a sweet grapefruit or a real tarty one? I've been looking for 2 yrs. for one that is not real tarty. Recently I tried BCN and DS with no luck. Tia

    tart help

I'm so glad I saw this thread. I love my GB416 cause it has a higher f/o load than most votive waxes. I never thought of mixing a little of my container paraffin in it to work out the kinks until now.
  5. Oops. I didn't even click on the individual wick link. Thank you Candybee.
  6. Does anyone know if they are doing away with their zinc wicks? I was looking at them and noticed they did away with the 51-32-18z and they only allow you to purchase 100 of the 6" 44-32-18z. Tia
  7. http://www.exoticfragrances.com I have until Friday to ponder over this but there is just so many to choose from. I need help choosing. I already know I want to try Viva La Juicy. Is there any must haves? Tia
  8. Congrats with the news of soon to be arrival. I hope and pray that he/she will be healthy and that mom has an easy delivery. I'm inclined to agree you. I'm just curious what is the melt point of your wax? And you mention soy blend, is it pure soy or blended with any paraffin?
  9. Thanks TxGirl, it's nice to know I'm not going crazy alone. I've tried using the Eco's but I just couldn't get past the way it acted up on the relight for the 1st minute. Carole - I started blending my own a year ago after having inconsistencies with GL 70/30. It seems strange that the 44-28 from GL has a 2 in. flame and the 44-24 from CS drowns out. I had some 51-32 from CS and tried them just to see and it burns just right but no ht like the 44-28 had. I'm ready to pull my hair out. If I can keep my sanity until Monday I think I'm just going to reorder the zinc series from one supplier.
  10. Can different types of waxes that are coated on wicks cause them to burn differntly even though they are the same size? As seen below at wicks unlimited. http://www.wicksunlimited.com/candle_waxes.php Here is my problem. I have a few different zinc wicks from CS and some I had around from GL. When I was testing a f/o I tried the GL 44-28-18z (it has a thin off-white wax coating) the HT was awesome but to flame was way too big. It would act like a torch when relited and soot bad. But then when I tried the CS 44-24-18z ( it has a thick white wax coating) it would fizzle out like it is too small. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Or do you use wicks that have a veg. wax coating and know if they seem to burn differently than the standard? Tia ; )
  11. Caramel Your myspace is set on private and won't allow your photos to be viewed. ; )
  12. Thank you Scentsme for the info. I had done a search on them but no one had really stated if they were pleased with their oils or even if they are worth the price. I'm glad you have had luck so far.
  13. Thank you. I have never used this supplier before. They seem to cost more than the others. I wonder if they are worth the price. Have you used them?
  14. Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture I got to smell this during my Christmas shopping. Me and my 2 girls really liked it. Does anyone know if a supplier has duped this or is about to? I've done a search here and looked at alot of supplier's sites who I thought might have it but I've come up empty. I thought this would make great Valentine happies for my girls and their friends. Tia
  15. It looks like Peaks is the closest. They have there's marked for $52.71. How is the shipping to you?
  16. Last year the owner at Alabaster's told me this exact samething. If it will help you any, call 'em. Mike or Todd (Oops cant remember their dang name) will tell you the plant they purchase from. Heck, if they cant tell you the freakin plant they purchase it from then they dont deserve your $. ; )
  17. But Sweet Cakes doesn't have .... Pomegranate Candy Flavoring Oil nor do they have... Pomegranate Martini Candy Flavoring Oil and pomegranate seem to be real popular.
  18. I didn't really know where to post this (?). I've been trying to go to TCS website and it doesn't pull up. Is anyone else having this trouble? Tia
  19. Thank you so much for the replies.
  20. Does anyone know if candy flavors are the samething as flavor oils used in lip balms? I've tried searching but I haven't been able to find the answer. Tia
